    Cheap bin liners are a false economy, but one that I still buy into regularly, I just find it hard to spend lots of money on something that is designed to be thrown out soon after you start using it. Yes, I get split bags sometimes and need to pick up old teabags from the floor, but I saved 50p and my indignation is worthless. When I do get a classy set of bags like these 'XupZip Drawstring Bin Bags' it gives me a glimpse into another way of living.These bags are far better quality than the cheap bags you get, they feel double layered. The box comes with two rolls, but the bags are not attached and come out one at a time. This means less accidental tearing of bags. There is no denying that these bags are great, but they are expensive, you need to value that extras sense of strength you get from them. I don't think I can justify it in the future, but then I have no dignity and clearing up an old banana skin from the kitchen floor is something that I am willing to do on a monthly basis to save a few quid.

    I got these bags in a larger size as well, unfortunately it's only the width of bag that differs. The box design makes it easy to get a bag out, without having to remove them all. The bags pierce easily with general kitchen waste. The bags are liquid safe ( unless damaged already) even with a large volume of liquid. Unfortunately they don't fit my kitchen bin properly, I have a regular bullet bin. I couldn't recommend these over others that ive had.

    Perfectly good bin liners, very much comparable in every way to my usual ones and are perfectly compatible with my 30L tall Brabantia bin. Easy to use and strong enough for usual household waste, has a drawstring tie top for easy closing and disposal.Pack of 40 bags will last up to around 6 months or so as i use 1-2 per week, only downside is i usually pay less at the supermarket at around 15p or less per bag. At the current price of £9.99 (at the time of review) these work out about 25p per bag. They are not stated as compostable or biodegradable which was surprised to see considering the price, would like to see these a bit more eco friendly. They’re a good waste bag in general but would have to be better value in order for me to buy them again.

    The bags measure 68 x 44.5 so a little under the measurements stated but the length is shorter than my usual bags, they fit my tall kitchen bin ok, just less overlap on the bin edge or they don't sit into the bottom of the bin. They feel a standard thickness to other bags used which haven't ripped or leaked, these have a textured pattern in them. I tested the weight and they had no trouble holding 10kg weight, my old bags performed the same so I would say these are strong and easily handle the weight of whats included in them. They are watertight and as to puncture resistance they wont stop something sharp and pointed. Clearly better value when buying in a larger quantity otherwise these are more expensive for just 40 than other strong bags I've used. These aren't biodegradable.

    These seem to be specifically designed for medium-sized tall cylindrical pedal bins. Most other 30L bags I have used are fine to use in my under the countertop bin in the kitchen, which has a long rectangular rim, but the top of these bags is too short and the volume comes much more from the height than the width. I'll have to relegate these to use in my small pedal bins in bedrooms and office - they're complete overkill used there, but there isn't really another option. These do seem on the evidence so far to be a bit stronger than many - they have a kind of quilted texture albeit not obviously any thicker than regular bags.
