    Used this to start my car twice in a row. It worked perfectly. Very simple to connect. Car started first time both times and afterwards the unit still showed 98% charge. Very impressed! The box it comes with is also very good and handy for keeping it all together in the boot. I also used the unit to power a pump to inflate a dinghy using the 12v outlet lead and that also worked fine.

    I was having a problem with battery drain on my car, If I didn't use it for a few days it would not start. So I bought the Carhev 3000A jump starter, it works great and starts the car very easily. I found the fault with the car and fixed the problem, but the jump starter stays in the car from now on just in case.

    This seemed to be well-made and versatile and came with a nice semi-hard case. It was surprisingly light weight. Unfortunately, as far as performance was concerned it fell at the first hurdle. It arrived with 70% charge so I fully charged it to 100% and plugged it in to recharge my iPad. However, it only managed to charge my iPad to 40% before the display on the power pack showed 0%. Disappointed (to say the least), I fully charged the power pack again, which worryingly only took about 3 hours rather than the 6 hours quoted in the manual (using just a standard USB charger). Once again, it only managed about a 40% charge for my iPad before running out. It should have easily been capable of fully charging the iPad with capacity to spare.To be fair, I didn't try using it as a jump starter but with such poor battery capacity I can't imagine that it would be able to start anything. Returned to Bolo for a full refund.

    Came with 84% battery power and I used it immediately from the box. Attached the leads to the dead battery and the car started instantly. Great product that’s lightweight and portable would recommend 100%

    Used it on my neighbours cars and worked well. Had to use the boost button and car started at the second turn of the key. The boost button is not however a button and requires something to push it through a small hole, cocktail stick did the job and I now keep a couple in the bag. Not a problem as l was at home but would have been a pain if I’d been out and about. Other than that a nice bit of kit.
