The suction power is more than sufficient to extract fluids quickly and efficiently, saving me both time and effort. The pump's capacity of 9 litres is generous. But I would recommend emptying the pump as soon as you finish changing the oil.Another commendable aspect of this pump is its sturdy construction and reliable build quality. The materials used feel durable and long-lasting, ensuring that this pump will withstand the rigours of regular use. I have found it to be a reliable companion, consistently performing without any issues.The inclusion of four tubes is a convenient addition, as it allows for various applications and fluid extraction scenarios. Received my new oil extractor today. I have owned a few of this type over the years in my trade and they work well. As per previous reviews stating extractor pipe is not long enough I have taken picture showing how to use the pipes as intended. You interlink pipes from biggest down connecting using the rubber connector at joint and the pipes actually link in together too.. The top attachment to the unit needs to be connected well using the rubber grommet connector. I use for extraction of engine oil and always have the engine oil warm at normal running temperature which inturn allows the oil to be extracted easily. When i measure up the extractor pipe with the dipstick and put the pipe down its dipstick pipe to the same length as dipstick or a little more you will feel it touch the base of sump. Now you are ready to connect hose to the unit.. place the unit in a way that it connects to the pipe without forcing or kinking the pipe. This will allow a secure connection using the rubber grommet..you are now ready to extract the oil etc. It is natural to hear a hiss of air at the connection to unit point which can be manipulated with your hand to stop it happening once you have pumped it to required pressure. All in all a very good oil extractor just take it easy with it snd follow the steps and all will work properly. These manual extractor units are better than 12v motor extractors you will find on here..

This is a good product bud it has a major flaw.. the plastic connector pipes arnt long enough.. I bought this for my Jetski to do an oil change .. it does a great job for it but on my car t it wasn’t able to get to the bottom on my sump & was only able to remove 4l my car holds 6.3 l.. u can’t get the tubes to go any further because because of the black rubber connectors.. so maybe an extra 2 inches on the white plastic tubes would be much better

Ordered this as the other one I ordered didn't turn up on time, nice easy and convenient tool to have, done oil change in 30mins, so much easier than having to get underneath car, instructions are easy to follow. Easy to store away in garage til next time.

Unit works just fine. Hoses are too short to reach where you need it with the pump unit on the ground so you can use it one handed. Ended up having to balance it in upturned bucket etc so it would reach but then you cannot put your foot on the “stirrup” to be able to operate the pump handle..

I ordered this pump for oil and antifreeze changes on my car. When it arrived the straws were found to be too short on their own so I purchased some 8mm ID reinforced plastic hose (3 metres) and an 8mm hose coupler. The hose simply pushes into the tank cap quite easily when dipped in hot water to soften it.The coupler I bought was found to be a little small for pushing into the rubbers of the straws so I have ordered a 10mm quick release coupler instead which I have yet to fit.With the hose fitted and squeezing the straw rubber onto the hose coupler it sucked out the cars antifreeze very well indeed.How I have done without one of these all these years I don't know!In summary: buy an addditional length of 8mm internal diameter hose and a 10mm coupling to join the straws to the hose and you should be good to go.Its easy to use, seems to have good suction on Antifreeze - not tried it on oil yet so pleased with my purchase.

I have used this on my Jaguar F Type 3L S V6, the engine holds 8Litres of oil and I managed to syphon out almost 8Litres, I found it easy to use just select which tube you need, connect and pump the handle up and down, I found it works best if you just slowly push and pull the handle continuously. The best part is you don't have to jack or get under the car. Come's with full instructions and various tube's. Suitable for engine's with a syphon tube in the oil fill hole.
