Overall this game is excellent and represents good value for money.All items are clear and well printed for the most part and all answers to each riddle are in the pack somewhere.One minor gripe that I have personally (and it has been the same in all three of these that I have done) is the images for CCTV. Now I know in real life these images can be fuzzy - but this is a game and it's sometimes difficult enough without making them black - dark grey backgrounds. You would still need to connect the pieces of evidence - but if and when you can't see them (and I do suffer from colour blindness which probably doesn't help) it becomes extremely frustrating. I tried for ages to read the poster on the wall even under an eyeglass - and as for the analogue clock - it was virtually impossible. That is the only reason I have marked that particular part of the game down. It really wouldn't matter if you made these parts of the games in the same clarity as the rest of the documents.However, despite the above negative comment, this is a challenging thought provoking logical adventure, which when you get it right (first one I have completed successfully) leaves you satisfied that you haven't completely wasted three hours.I like this games and have at least another five to do and look forward to the experience.

This is the second Case we have done, and they're great for an evening in with a takeaway and a few drinks! Really clever and always get you thinking, and reading between the lines for hidden clues!We will be purchasing the next case soon!

This is the second case we've done and despite being labelled as 4.5/5 difficulty, was more manageable than the first one- partly on account of the more modern setting and partly because the case was broken into segments.Staying away from spoilers, it's a fun few hours. You can probably get through the material in good time but pulling the trigger always seems to take a while so I'd maybe add an hour to the estimate, unless you're Hercule Poirot.Great as a night in for couples or groups, not a bad price for an evening's entertainment. The materials as always are well presented and good quality, with lots of subtle organic hints.Would do another.

I had wanted to try one of these games for ages so when sale came I had to buy one. I didn't know then it was rated 4.5 out of 5 for difficulty but gave it a go and wow!!!The case file containing 3 parts in envelopes contained substantial really realistic professional documents for evidence amd thanks to the amazing Web page with hints I got onto the online inbox for vital evidence I'd have otherwise missed.I love the presentation amd storyline and didn't want to spoil game so I could pass to family so grabbed a notebook and only needed hint once and ok one time complete answer but that's what's great, the online hints pages I broken down so you van use as many hints as you need or fully reveal the answer so you can't get stuck anywhere totally unable to move on which is great.I love how it is all designed and the suit answer page was nerve wracking but great amd again not to worry as other games may lock you out for incorrect answer, this does not thankfully as I accidently clicked wrong button on one so please try amd use all the evidence amd maybe hints but failing all you won't waste your money even if you really can't work it out it's set up to be able to reveal anything allowing you to progress.I also loved how once I solved the case it gave a detailed account of the storyline, suspects and evidence as although I still got there I had also missed some clues which was great to see at end.Please keep up good workThis would make an excellent gift and I've already requested 2 more from family for Christmas however......can I wait that long.I am off to read about the other cases amd decide my next oneBrilliant best game I've played thank so much for thinking of such detailed gameplay.

Enjoyed the multi-part system to the game, allowing plot twists in real time.The killer (who we shall not name) didn't seem to have a clear-cut motive, preventing a completely satisfying ending.However, it's a great game to play with mates :)

We have thoroughly enjoyed becoming detectives for a few hours 😀 The clues were clear and presented in a life like format making it a fully immersive experience. Knowing there were hints and tips available for when our training failed was just enough to get us back on track. We will definitely be buying more improving our detective skills further.

As a lover of escape rooms but not always being able to afford £30 a go, on recommendation from a friend I found out about cryptic killers. I ordered this last year but only just got round to playing it and it was so much fun. Admittedly even though we discovered the killer we didn’t manage to find all the clues and evidence about each suspect but it was fun all the same. The online hints and tips are very helpful if you get really stuck as we did at some points. Great idea for date night, family night or fun with friends. Would highly recommend and look forward to the next one

Really good game. Played a couple now and this is definitely the favourite one! It was challenging but we managed without having to use any hints! Excellent value for money and lots of fun! Can’t wait to get another one
Fun and Logically Sound!
This was a fun few hours of deductive reasoning. You are given a lot of evidence to sift through and given a goal for each step so you are not really lost. The clues given made logical sense and I never felt that anything was a stretch. I look forward to trying to solve the other ones as well!One thing to note, some of the handwritten clues were a bit tough to read and the British language made it a little harder to understand what was being referred to at times. Nothing a quick Google search couldn't rectify.

This will be my third review for Cryptic Killers because I seriously cannot get enough!!As per usual, the packaging was outstanding, the case itself was amazingly put together, and truly made me feel like a detective!This case follows Penelope "Nell" Phryp, a private investigator that was hired at Mediluck Medicines to find who is leaking the company's information on a new sleeping pill. Only a week into her investigation, she ends up brutally murdered in one of the labs. Our job is to find who did it, why, and who the mole is.Again, this is a FANTASTIC game and it is so much cheaper than Hunt-A-Killer for the same detective experience. I had so much fun playing this, as it kept me entertained for a couple of hours. The case is easy to read and truly looked like a detective's case file. Cannot wait to start the next one!!
