    I received an answer from ChunHee to the problem I previously raised. The ringtone alert is for when the intercoms are used, say, with a doorbell. The alert cannot be made to sound when there are merely two intercoms.So far I have found the intercoms to work well. They are used to communicate between my workshop and the house. Sound is clear and the intercoms are easy to use. For convenience, I have used a battery bank of the kind used to charge a mobile phone to charge the intercoms, and it works well.I bought the intercoms recently and so can't tell how they will perform long term. However, they feel substantial pieces of kit and the belt clips are good.

    Terrible they will not hold charge even after only a few weeks use, now they are two days out of return period and useless so a total waste of money. If the seller sees this please refund me and allow me to return the item.

    We got these to keep in contact with my mum when she became infirm. They were excellent. She was 87 and had dementia but could still work these and they were invaluable when she needed us for help. I would recommend them if you need to keep in touch with someone in a similar situation. They worked in every room and even if we were down the bottom of the garden. That distance was about 30 metres and in an outhouse with electrics going

    This product is self sufficient. i.e. Does not need batteries. They each have a cradle charger and a wall mountI operate from a separate office some 10 meters from the house.We maintain good clear contact on a both way function.Very user friendly devices.
