    Love this, really made our summer more enjoyable this year haha.Mostly only used the cooling function so can't say too much about the others but seems to work fine, giving a good comfy temp pretty quickly.Good size and easy to roll around on the wheels for the most part, but it is heavy.Seen a few noise complaints on the reviews here but honestly it's pretty much what I'd expect if an AC unit. Wouldn't say its quiet but not loud either, just maybe don't sleep directly next to it if you don't like the noise.In terms of value, I'd absolutely recommend though. Worth the money I pit in for sure.Another note too is the exhaust adapter is very good. I don't have a typical window type that fits it (it's one of the swing open ones) but still make it work pretty well.

    We have a really hot home office so I thought we should try one of these out. Packaging, unboxing etc. is all very straightforward. Instructions are well written and straightforward. In fact my 10 year-old son set it up without any help from me!The unit is quite heavy but can still be easily lifted by 1 / 2 people with well placed handles on the sides. It feels very well made and solid, nice quality plastic and easy access to the various cooling elements etc for easy cleaning. Once set up it is really not big with a small footprint.There is a clever adapter for putting the exhaust pipe through a window and keeping it sealed. This would work best on a sliding or sash window. Once set up you could bring it in at night if required. TBH we have just put the exhaust out of a door and that seems to work fine.The remote works well (no batteries included but not a biggie). Castors on the base make it easy to move around a flat floor and push in the cupboard for the winter. It was also great to see it has an A energy rating as well. It does make a bit of noise but honestly not much more than a big fan would anyway.Reading the instructions you can also use it as a dehumidifier which could be useful.It is now set up and belching out cold air ready for August.We are looking forward to a nice cool office through the summer now!

    I found the price affordable compared to old one my husband bought five years ago. I like the way it is light weight and compact, easy to move around to where we want it to be. The old one is really heavy and needs two people to move it about. The remote control is really handy, saves us getting up when we need to turn it off or change the settings. It gives off a lovely cool air and also dehumidifies the room. I have noticed that it has a low running cost as it doesn’t consume too much energy which is great for the high cost of living times we are living in. Overall I am happy with this Air Conditioner and I would strongly recommend it.

    So, it’s getting to that time of year again when the heat is starting to creep up - and this time I decided to get ahead of the game and get myself a portable AC for a change. I have a mounted AC in the bedroom but the guest room which is being re-done in a month needs some cooling system, hence my purchase.Arrived pretty quickly, always great to have quick & free delivery for Prime members. But it is pretty big, comes up to about waist level and its 24kg - I managed on my own but might be worth having someone there just in case.It is very well packed and protected.Inside you have the remote control, window kit, and manual.Boldly written on the carton is a warning that you need to leave the unit to stand for at least 6hrs after being delivered due to it having gas that might have been moved around during delivery - which I did. The unit itself is obviously plastic but very sturdy - you can tell there is nothing cheap about this. It's really well made. Impressed.To switch it on you simply plug it into the socket and press the button, and presto - its on. (Obviously remember to follow the instructions and attach the hose at the back first )Now there are 3 settings - AC, Fan & Humidifier. I have only tested the AC part till now, and must say its pretty powerful - even matching my mounted AC. Within 20 minutes I had to put on another layer of clothing. Not extremely noisy either.Pros1. Portable (with tires)2. Chills the room pretty quickly3. Remote controlled4. Could be used as humidifier & fan5. Looks great in any room.Cons (If you can even call it a con)1. The water hose attachments work for sliding windows or sash windows, not casement windows. Lucky for me I am getting a new window for the guest room so will switch to a sash window so the window kit can fit perfectly.2. It is not as quiet as my wall mounted AC - but then again it did not disturb me watching a movie, or having a nap.VerdictNo regrets whatsoever - for a fraction of the price I get to chill my room as good as a wall mounted AC. And the knowledge that I have a humidifier as well - cannot fault it.Pretty unit too - looks so posh.
