This water bottle was bigger than I expected, it measures 29cm in length and 7.5cm wide. When full, the bottle is quite heavy and because of its size makes it difficult to refill under some taps. The bottle doesn’t have drinking straw, you just tip the bottle to get the water to come out of the top. I have not found this water bottle to leak on me yet, while in use. The bottle has a flip lid, carry handle and indents on the side making the bottle easy to grip onto.Overall, this water bottle great to use on the go and at the gym, it had easy to see markers on the side helping you manage your daily fluid intake. The bottle good quality and well made but a little oversized and bulky for me personally.

This is my second Ion8 water bottle and this is a bigger version being 1L in size. The colour is lovely and a cool toned ice colour. The caps on these are amazing at giving a good flow of water and the lock function is useful if storing in your bag not upright. The messages for each hour to drink are always useful and helps track your water intake. The 1L bottle is perfect for around the house as you drink during the day, although may be a bit on the too large size to take out and about as once filled with water is a bit heavier.

In an effort to drink more water I got this water bottle.At 1 litre capacity it should be great for keeping me hydrated, especially during these hot days.The bottle has groves in the design making it very comfortable to hold. With a frosted white colour to it I love the look.Cleaning is easy due to tyhe wide opening at the top.The overall quality seems as good as any bottle I have had in the past.The cap has a foldable hook for easy of carrying and the spout opens with a button. WHich has a locking hook so no accidental spillages.Like most NEW water bottles on first use despite cleaning the water did taste a litte plasticy but after several bottles this taste does abate.One thing I have to mention with is a brilliant feature is the wrting on the oter side of the bottle. Its basically a guide for yourself throughtout the say. With markings listed from 7am all through until 6pm. These allow you to keep on track for drinking during the day.Can not recommend this bottle more.

This Ion8 Water bottle offers a solution to reducing plastic waste and having a handy container for water at the same time. It comes in a plain single colour design and affords you a whole 1 litre of liquid capacity making it ideal for tough workouts in the gym. It is nearly 30 cm tall which making it quite heavy to carry around in your hand or a bag. Although it is fine for filling at free mounted water dispensers, it may not work so well in a sink or tap where room is at a premium. The key with any such bottle is how secure they are against leaks and here the lock mechanism is an easy to open flip top which locks back into place with a catch that clicks into place which has so far not sprung any leaks.. The bottle is dishwasher safe or can be cleansed with a thin brush and water. All in all a practical and well made bottle but one which is weighty to carry around.

This is my second Ion8 bottle and i think they are the best, as there is just a simple spout that lets you gulp as much water as you want...no need for complex tubes and spouts that harbour bacteria and are just a painthe single handed mechanism works perfectly, and is far better than all the others i have.I'm not sure if the motivation print is going to do anything for me, but it might help you as you have specific levels that you have to drink each hour.the main bottle has a really cool ergonomic shape that you are going to want to show off, as its just so well done...its simple indent that fit your hand perfectly..simplicity at its best....

This is one amazing water bottle. Has great capacity. Can be locked when needed to prevent accidental opening of the cap. Has a small foldable handle for easier carrying. Clear marking on the bottle of the amount of liquid inside. It is easy to drink from this bottle.Knowing that plastic used is bpa gives me peace of mind as well. Bottle itself is very nice to touch.I always was of the opinion that there is no difference between a water bottle that costs a fiwer and one that cost 3 times that, I could not be more wrong. Only when you start using it do you know and notice the difference.I highly recommend this bottle.

Ion8 bottles are great and this is yet another one that did not disappoint.As well as the usual leakproof locked lid and the carrying loop, this bottle has timings on the side, you remind you when and how much to hydrate by. I mean, sure you have to be looking at your bottom at the right time to remember, or else set reminders on your device, but, still, it's a thoroughly good idea, and my water consumption has been better.The bottle is easy to clean, and, hasn't, as yet, leaked into my bag, but I'm really not expecting it to.

Produkt wurde mir kostenlos zum Test überlassen, dies hat allerdings keinen Einfluss auf die Wertung.Eine zuverlässige Wasserflasche für die Schule oder Arbeit. Der Zusatz Kinder in der Artikelbeschreibung kann man zur Kenntnis nehmen. Ich hatte die Flasche jetzt auf der Arbeit dabei und denke das Produkt ist für alle Altersgruppen geeignet, welche einen Liter Flüssigkeit mitführen wollen.Farblich ist das Produkt in weiß sehr ansprechend. Der Verschluss öffnet mit leichtem Druck und der Deckel wird durch eine Feder geöffnet. Wie auf den Bildern zu erkennen ist eine zusätzliche Sicherung vorhanden, welche einfach nach oben geklappt wird und dann verhindert, dass sich der Deckel unbeabsichtigt öffnet. Es ist ein kleiner Tragering vorhanden der ebenfalls ausgeklappt werden kann. Am Deckel selbst ist ein Trinkstutzen sowie ein kleines Luftloch, dass sich die Flasche nicht zusammen zieht. Beides durch eine gute Dichtung im Aufklappdeckel geschützt. Ein gut durchdachtes System, trinken gestaltet sich angenehm und auch größere Druchlaufmengen sind kein Problem. z.B. nach dem Sport Innen sieht man die Dichtung, welche sehr gut eingepasst ist. An der Seite ist die Skala zu erkennen, welche für die "Motivation" zum Trinken sorgen soll. Der Flüssigkeitsstand lässt sich sehr gut erkennen. Die Flasche ist leicht durchsichtig, das Material leicht angeraut. Es gibt auf der einen Seite Mulden für die Finger und gegenüberliegend für den Daumen. Perfekt zum Halten der Flasche. Auf Druck gibt sie leicht nach ist aber ausreichend stabil. Aus Testzwecken habe ich den Extremfall nachgestellt und die Flasche verschlossen und gefüllt auf den Kopf gestellt, um zu schauen wie dicht sie wirklich ist. Zwar wird niemand sie so im Gepäck transportieren aber manchmal verrutscht ja auch etwas in der Tasche oder dem Rucksack. Die Info halte ich bei einer auslaufsicheren Flasche für sehr wichtig. Auflösung gibt es unten ;-) Insgesamt ein sehr gelungenes Produkt.Pro:- sehr gelungenes Design- breites Farbspektrum, da ist für jeden was dabei- Qualität sehr gut- Klappdeckel finde ich angenehm- zusätzliche Sicherung gegen unbeabsichtigte Öffnung- trinken funktioniert sehr gut, auch Ausgießen in z.B. ein Glas- Test auf dem Kopf stehend, gefüllt - dicht- Preis absolut angemessen für Material und ZweckContra:- Stutzen für den Mund könnte etwas länger sein - Jammern auf ganz hohen NiveauFazit:Ein sehr gutes und gelungenes Produkt, welches einen ausgezeichneten Eindruck hinterlässt.Ich bin überzeugt und habe für den Junior ein weiteres Exemplar bereits gekauft.
Schicke und praktische Trinkflasche für Alltag und Freizeit
Egal ob beim Sport, in der Freizeit, bei Outdoor-Aktivitäten oder einfach im Alltag. Eine stabile Kunststoff-Trinkflasche habe ich eigentlich immer gerne dabei. Diese Flasche besteht aus recyceltem Material, was sie sehr nachhaltig macht. Beim Auspacken hatte die Flasche keinerlei unangenehme Gerüche. Um Produktionsreste zu beseitigen sollte man sie dennoch vor dem ersten Gebrauch reinigen. Sehr gut gefällt mir hier, dass die Flasche spülmaschinenfest ist.Der Verschluss ist doppelt gesichert. Zunächst wird der kleine Sicherungsbügel nach unten geklappt und dann kann der Knopf zum Öffnen betätigt werden. Alles ist komfortabel mit einem Daumen zu bedienen. Gerade bei Freizeitaktivitäten ist das sehr praktisch. Zum Trinken steht dann eine recht kleine Öffnung bereit. Da sich am Deckel aber ein kleines Loch befindet, das im geschlossenen Zustand abgedichtet ist, kann Luft hinein strömen und somit kann man sehr schnell trinken. Das hilft dabei, die empfohlenen Mengen an Wasser zu sich zu nehmen.Zum Auffüllen schraubt man den ganzen Deckel einfach ab. Die Öffnung ist dann sehr groß, wodurch sich das Einfüllen sehr einfach gestaltet. Das ist sehr praktisch. Am Deckel befindet sich noch ein ausklappbarer Ring, an dem sich die Flasche entweder tragen oder befestigen lässt. Auch das gefällt mir sehr gut. Die Flasche selbst hat noch leichte Einkerbungen für die Finger. Somit liegt sie äußerst gut in der Hand. Beim Trinken fühlt sich das super an.Auf der Flasche sind sowohl verschiedene Füllstände, als auch Uhrzeiten und motivierende Sprüche aufgedruckt. Das ist ganz nett und hilft dabei, über den Tag genügend Flüssigkeit aufzunehmen. Gerade für Trink-Muffel kann das sehr vorteilhaft sein. Ansonsten schaut es auch noch gut aus.Die Flasche läuft aufgrund der Dichtungen nicht aus, selbst wenn sie auf den Kopf gedreht wird. Das ist natürlich dringend notwendig, wenn die Flasche beim Sport verwendet wird. Nach einigem Gebrauch hält die Flasche noch immer dicht. Ich gehe davon aus, dass das auch weiterhin so bleibt.Somit kann ich die Trinkflasche sehr empfehlen. Das Design ist schick und praktisch. Die Qualität ist gut und das Material ist nachhaltig. Schön ist auch, dass verschiedene Farben erhältlich sind. Das schlichte Weiß in meiner Ausführung gefällt mir sehr gut.
Dicht aber....
der Verschluss funktioniert leider nicht so wie er soll. Wenn ich auf den Verschlussknopf drücke springt der Deckel leider nicht immer korrekt auf sondern ich muss ihn dann von Hand auf klappen. Das ist schon ein bisschen nervig.Der neue Verschluss OneTouch 2.0 ist somit leider kein One Touch. Zum trinken ist der OneTouch 2.0 Verschluss allerdings angenehmer als der von der OneTouch 1.0 Flasche.Verriegeln kann man die Flasche entweder über einen Bügel den man nach oben klappt oder man schiebt den der Verschluss nach oben. Oder natürlich beides :)Der Aufdruck auf der Flasche motiviert auf jeden Fall mehr zu trinken. Vor allem weil man die Flasche einmal auffüllen muss. Da hat man nicht ganze 2 Liter vor sich. Das klappt dann schon irgendwie besser mit dem trinken. Und man kann sie auch besser mitnehmen ohne einen Kanister mit sich zu schleppen...Einmal bis ganz nach oben auffüllen sind 1 Liter.Die Tragelasche ist im Deckel mit integriert und wenn man sie benötigt kann man sie raus klappen. So stört diese auch nicht.Ich mag die Flasche sehr. Und seit ich sie benutze trinke ich auf jeden Fall mehr. Oft auch 2 Liter am Tag. Trotzdem bin ich nicht ganz überzeugt weil der Deckel einfach nicht immer richtig öffnet.
Gut für zuhause oder den Sport, leider zu breit für die Schultasche
Im Laufe unserer Sport- und Schulkarriere haben wir schon viele Flaschen ausgetestet. Das vorliegende Modell von ION8 zählt schon zu den hochwertigeren - jedoch mit Anwendungseinschränkungen.Der Style und der Aufdruck sind sehr klar und motivierend. auch das Flaschenmaterial fast sich fest an und kann mit bloßer Hand nicht, bzw. nur wenige (1-2) mm eingedrückt werden. Schön sind auch die im Flaschenkörper eingearbeiteten "Dellen", die ein Greifen und Festhalten der Falsche beim Trinken leichter machen.Nun aber zu den für mich entscheidenden Merkmalen einer guten Trinkflasche.1. Der Verschluss: Man schraubt den Deckel mit Trinköffnung auf den breiten Flaschenhals. Das geht zwar sehr gut, ABER: man muss unbedingt darauf achten, auch GERADE zu schrauben, denn erwischt man das Gewinde schief, kann seitlich Flüssigkeit (in die Tasche etc.) entweichen. Dieses Gewinde ist meines Erachtens bei Unaufmerksamkeit oder zu großer Eile anfällig dafür.Den Deckel öffnet man mit einem Klickverschluss. Hier hätte die Fläche zum Drücken ruhig ein wenig flächiger bzw. größer ausfallen können. Verschließen lässt sich das Ganze sehr schön mit einem deutlich hörbaren "Klick". Zusätzlich kann man das ganze noch mit einem Bügel sichern. Dieser ist leider sehr zierlich und arretiert bzw. "klickt" nicht. Das bedeutet, er könnte sich selbstständig öffnen. Dann muss man auf den sehr stabil wirkenden Klickverschluss hoffen.Insgesamt gebe ich dem Verschluss/der Dichtigkeit 7 von 10 Punkten.2. Geschirrspülertaglich: ist die Flasche. Das ist sehr wichtig und ein guter Punkt.ABER: Wäscht man die elegant-weiß durchsichtige Flasche gemeinsam mit Tomatensoßenresten, dann wird man eine unwiederbringlich apricot-orange farbene Flasche wieder herausholen. Ein Klassiker...3. Die Breite: Die Flasche wird als "schmal" beworben. Das kann ich überhaupt nicht nachvollziehen. Der Durchmesser von 8cm sprengt jede Schultaschendimension. Hier gibt es andere Modelle mit gleichem Volumen, einem einfachem, aber dichten Schraubverschluss und deutlich schmaler.FAZIT: Die an sich ganz schicke Flasche nutze ich jetzt zuhause um meine tägliche Trinkmenge ein wenig zu überwachen. Für die Schule ist sie überdimensioniert und ich traue mich auch nicht ganz, sie sprichwörtlich in einen Sportbeutel zu "werfen" - wegen der Auslaufgefahr. Ja, die ist sehr gering, aber dennoch vorhanden aus beschriebenen Gründen. In täglicher Dauernutzung gebe ich der Flasche zudem etwa ein Jahr, also das ewig Leben hat sie nicht. Auch das führe ich vor allem auf die Verschlusstechnik und ihre zum Teil instabilen Blemente zurück (z.B. Bügelchen zur Sicherung des Schnappverschluss). Wenn die offene Flasche einmal aus der Hand fällt, könnte zudem der Deckel leicht abgesprengt werden. Der kann auch nicht ersetzt werden. Dann ist die Flasche als ganzes unbrauchbar. Insgesamt also ein eher teures Vergnügen. das meine ich so, wie ich es schreibe: an sich zwar schick, aber in der täglichen, häufigen Anwendung super-anfällig und zu breit.
