Wanted to use this stand to put my Christmas starters on. Very impressed with the quality of the slate and the sturdiness of the frame overall (not flimsy). For the cost it’s really good.I only wish that the wood would fold up once assembled (for storage) without me having to disassemble the whole thing but never mind. Very happy with it :)

I bought this to display birthday cakes, it's heavy and solid, holds a good amount, it was pretty straightforward to put together and is foldable if you don't put the top screws in but more stable with them. I'm sure it will get used again for birthdays and Christmases.

Had problems to start with with no instructions enclosed with the product. Contacted seller, who provided typed sheet, but no use. After going back again, detailed instructions provided, and very easy to put together as well as discovering if you don't put in the 2 small screws at the top it becomes foldable.Have used for a birthday tea (see photo). It holds a lot and very sturdy. Happy I purchased this item from the many on sale, and stuck in there with the seller, who has thanked me for feedback and now has detailed video instructions on the blurb. The cake stand is beautiful and great to use. I would recommend this item and seller, who listened and acted thereon. 😀

The product description states the following - "SPACE-SAVING SOLUTION - Are you short on table space for your next social gathering or event? This two tiered afternoon tea stand conveniently provides extra serving space without taking up tons of extra room. The slates can also be used without the wooden rack, which easily folds away." However, the wooden rack does not fold at all. The slates can be removed, but there is no space saved as the wooden rack itself can't be folded. This misleading information should be removed from the product information. I bought this cake stand specifically so I could fold it away as space is at a premium, so I am very disappointed in the product.On a separate point, the product was very difficult to assemble and feels very flimsy. I would not recommend to anyone.
5.0 out of 5 stars Remember not to screw up the pre drilled top holes!
The instructions don’t state not to use the screws provided to screw the top two pre drilled holes but the description on Bolo does. We put them in but then realised we had to remove them again and now it folds away beautifully. You need to use a screwdriver rather than the Alan key provided to give you more oomph when screwing up. We also left tightening up the bars that hold the slates until it was fully assembled, to make sure they were aligned properly.Looks great, can wait to use it.

It looks nice, but it’s not easy to assemble it, it’s too heavy, so it doesn’t fit my needs. I am returning it.

Schlechte Qualität
Sehr schlechte Qualität. Nach dem zusammenbauen wackelt es. Ein Bein fast ein cm zu kurz, also war es das Geld auf gar kein Fall wert.
Ablage 2teilig mit Schieferplatten
a) etwas klein geratenb) es fehlt die Sicherung gegen Herunterfallen, z.B. Hartgummipuffer oder Plastepuffer, angeklebt an der Unterseite der Schieferplatten je 4 Stück pro Platte und je 4 Löcher in den Holzleisten zum Einstecken/Arretieren, dann kann nichts Herunterfallen (gemeint die Schieferplatten) und es wäre optimal!!!
