Just what I needed, as I do a lot of reading in bed at night. Easy to charge, comes with a small cable to fit to it, but you do need to have an appropriate electric plug to connect it to. A bit cheapskate not to include one with it? Anyway, fine build quality, fits around the neck, bendy "arms" to it so you can adjust as you need,good length, buttons work, one side off and on and can change intensity of light , button on other arm changes light settings. Nice and bright full on, but can adjust to your preference. Battery lasts ages ,as per one review I read , and do agree, if you shake the arms they rattle where the lights are?? Strange bit no adverse effect. I believe a very good purchase, lots of possible uses apart from just reading, and a good price.(have to see about durability? ) Totally recommended at the moment.

Really useful device that makes a difference when lighting conditions are poor. I need strong light to read anything because my eyesight is deteriorating and this provides useful support directly on the page I am trying to read. Seems to hold a charge for quite a while too. Not too heavy or obtrusive, it sits round my neck quite comfortably.

This helps so much in that I can read, crochet etc while others can either watch tv or turn lights out to sleep. I even used it in the car on a recent long journey, and it was completely safe for my husband who was driving and other cars around us. Well worth the money. 3 different strengths and light colour. Rechargeable too so no hassle with changing batteries. Highly recommend.

Got this as a present for my wife. She crochets and sews so I thought it could be good for that. Overall, it is. She likes it and after a bit of getting used to it, it's proved useful.It comes across as a decent quality item from the finish, feel of the materials and the weight (although packaging lets it down a bit if being given as a gift). The functions work as described - brightness and colour temperature.When you put it round your neck, it tend to end up with the light just lighting up your shirt. The ends can be bent up in an S shape to bring the torch ends up of your top so that it's more useful, but it feels like the design (particularly the padded piece which sits on the nape of your neck) could be better shaped to help with this.Aside from that it seems good and will be useful. I was considering getting one as an alternative to a headtorch when doing jobs on the cars and bikes, but having tried it I think it might be more trouble than it's worth as I could see it continually moving around as I moved and not lighting up where I wanted. Fine if you're sitting still-ish doing something.

I wouldn’t be without mine. Ideal now the darker nights are approaching or if the light in the room is not bright enough. If, as an older person like me, ideal when knitting or reading.

As far as gadgets go, this has to be one of the best I’ve bought.It’s really bright - great for reading. Presumably great for things like camping (not my bag).It’s very comfortable around the neck and the arms are very easy to adjust to just where you want them.Middle of the night reading without disturbing my partner is so much easier due to this great little gadget.

I bought this for my mom. I noticed that she was having trouble reading her book at night. These are great. I bought one for my sister and me.
Light goes off after 10 seconds
I’ve had this light for about 6 months. It was working as expected until recently. The light will only go on the dimmest light setting and will go off after about 10 seconds. I turn it back on and it goes off after another 10 seconds. So product is useless to me now
How did I live without this??
This is a game changer! I don't know how I went so long without one. This has a nice sturdy, quality weight to it but without it being heavy. The lights are bright and the lowest level is still bright enough to see but to illuminate the whole room. Battery last a decent amount of time. I typically don't use it for more then 3 or 4 hours at a time and can do that 2 or 3 days in a row before having to charge it.
