Adjustable depth is very useful, the calibration means it takes next to no effort to push down on the tamper and achieve a good tamp. Textured base is a nice touch. Materials are all high quality, and is well built. Good tamper!

Super tamper for the money, feels solid and well made. Easy to adjust the depth etc. The only drawback is the coffee grounds that get stuck under the tamp. I guess it's no fault of the tamp itself just the idea / design of this style of tamp. I still like it as it's lip sits on the basket edge and creates a flat surface 100% of the time.

This is a good value, nice looking tamper - but, if you're looking for a consistent tamping pressure, this is not the tool for you.The built-in spring ensures that you tamp level, which is the most important thing.But you have no guide to the actual tamping pressure, so you're going to need to spend some more!

I can’t really comment on how good or otherwise this tamper is other than to say it looks good, feels weighty\well made as mine arrived having obviously been used already. It was packaged in a small bubble-wrap bag inside a plain grey plastic bag in a beaten up Bolo box…don’t know if this is standard for items from Miicoffee.When I took the tamper out of the bag, the silver ridged base had a fair amount of ingrained coffee grounds on it, along with a couple of spots of discolouration from wet coffee and a number of very prominent fingerprints. When I pulled the collar up, the top surface of the silver tamping disc, which had been covered by the collar, was covered in coffee grounds. I can only assume from the way it arrived that it had been used before, more than a few times by the look of it.As a result of its condition upon arrival I have arranged for a return\refund.

Correct, un peu déroutant
Nécessite un temps d'adaptation après des années et des milliers de tirages d'expresso en utilisation manuelle.Personnellement, le tamper calibré ne m'apporte pas une meilleure extraction, mon expérience manuelle est toujours meilleure, mais un certain confort et rapidité.Note au fabricant : Une graduation circulaire et surtout un verrouillage seraient bienvenus.Merci de m'avoir lu.
Great compact tamper
Hydraulic action is nice but I’d prefer a solid ‘click’ when desired pressure is reached and although it’s adjustable it’s a little finicky to use - still, does a good job so no complaints !
