Really good bottle that doesn’t leak. I got this for my daughter for school and so far we not had any issues. Easy to clean and nice colour.

Great waterbottle. Totally awesome. Best bottle in the world. Better than all the other bottles. Suuuper cool. Awesome.So, the story begins with a girl (me) who has a severe cat allergy (cries) resulting in danger level asthma attacks with an accompanying swelling of the back of her throte, if she's really unlucky. Sadly her beautiful mother (whom of which just beat cancer for the second time can I get a 'woop woop') happens to have a small stripey tiger (cat) called Winnie (who she loves but also tries to kill her with her feline genes *cries again*). Therefore whenever visiting her lovely family the girl (me) has to prepare for battle when entering the house equipped with inhalers, antihistamines etc.It was when she was preparing for said battle that she came up with the idea of a waterbottle with a closed lid to drink from (ovs) to make sure any stray (pun intended) cat fur lurking in the air won't end up floating in her drink and possibly causing the headline 'death by cat fluff'. (I would also like to add that while the house is clean we all know cat fur is an entity in itself that cannot be fully controled despite best efforts).(Switching it up to first person now.. Oo edgy)I'm genuinely very impressed with this bottle and have got quite a few compliments on it! The quality is really good and it looks rather fancy if I do say so myself. I bought the light pink colour (because I'm a basic girl, come at me) and I really like the frosted feel on the bottle as it also provides good grip. The strap is handy and good quality too, don't know if it's any good for running as crippling anxiety prevents me from doing so. Most importantly it doesn't leak! (So far! Let's not jinx it). You have to make sure the outside clip is secured once you close the bottle.Also a fun little quirk of the bottle I should point out to prevent others getting drenched while in the passenger seat on a 4 hour journey.. above the mouth piece is a teeny tiny hole that if you drink the bottle from the side.. you will get soaked. So your only option is to drink it straight with your nose towards and often touching the lid (could just be my big beak tho). I initially hated this but when I realised it's for equalising the pressure in the bottle when your drinking so you don't feel like your trying to suck water out of a henry hoover.. I think it's a fab idea.Basically, if you want to be that gal/guy with a cool saucy lookin' water bottle out and about with your hair or beard flowing in the wind.. then this is your bottle babez.

Firstly the pros:This bottle is excellent for one-handed use as a sports bottle; the locking mechanism works really well and is satisfying to use, the nozzle makes drinking very easy and water flows smoothly as your drinking it. This might sound silly but as a drinking experience I can't really think of a way to improve it. It's also really easy to clean as you can get to all of the parts easily and all of the soft components that contact the water can dry easily, avoiding the potential for black mould that I've experienced with other bottles.The so-so:The bottle is leak-proof, at least 99% of the time. I've had one occasion where the nozzle gasket got unseated slightly and wouldn't seal, but that was easy enough to remedy. The main issue is that occasionally the lid gasket gets slightly twisted from tightening the lid, which seems to cause spillages when drinking. Again, easily remedied but annoying when it leaks water down your shirt.The cons:I never really found a use for the handle, it's only small enough to fit a couple of fingers through which leads me to believe it's primarily designed to clip on to something, except there's no clip so you'd need a carabiner or something to attach it to anything. Mine had also snapped completely off after about 9 months. The spring lasted longer, just over a year before snapping, but due to the design of the lid you can't replace it which detracts from the ease of use as the lid can no longer flip up on its own. Replacement lids don;t seem to be available any more either so this can only be fixed by buying a whole new bottle.One of the primary reasons to buy a water bottle is to reduce the amount of plastic associated with drinking water on the go, so a bottle that only lasts about a year isn't ideal. All in all a great bottle, but the lid needs work on the durability front.

Bought two water bottles for children at school. These are brillant and have a triple lock function that ensures that if the top is taken off and put back on that it is closed properly so that it doesn’t leak. Very light when filled up which is great for going in kids school bags and comes in lots of different colours.

A friend recommended trying ion8 bottles so I recently purchased and couldn't be happier with it. It's truly excellent! The design is sleek, it's easy to carry, and best of all, it doesn't leak. This was 3rd time I'd purchased one of these. This was for my sister. However the small rubber seal came out without her realising when she washed it. Then leaked everywhere on next use. The new one is not as good as old one. Had mine several years....old one just starting to occasionally drip on seal. Still best designed water bottle I've ever had. Would have given my first one 5 stars.
Solid Water Bottle with handy loop to attach the Carabiner
I got the black on black and it look fantastic.I love the little loop portion on the lid, so I can attach it to my laptop bag when going to the office.The bottle is made from some type of material called Recyclon or something, and it feels tremendously more solid than regular plastic. I like the soft touch matte finish, and the leakproof cap with the lid that raises open with a click. It even has a mini latch to lock the raising lid to prevent any leakage or prevent accidental opens. Once the lid is open, it has a little tubular opening to drink out of. The entire lid can be unscrewed to make refills easier, so you do not have to fill from the smaller tubular drinking opening (as shown in product images).It’s a little smaller than I imagined, but that is a plus since it’s easier to carry and easier to attach to a carabiner.Overall, a solid, surprisingly durable and attractive bottle. Black on black looks absolutely amazing.Again, please note the ounces it holds. It’s less than some water bottles, but it is built solid and is easily refillable. If you drink a ton of water like me, and have access to water to refill it’s an amazing bottle. If you are going out for the day and do not have access to refills, you may want to look at a larger water bottle.But for me, this will fit in a cup holder and it’s the perfect size to attach to a bag, without it swinging around haphazardly or being so heavy it makes my bag (it’s clipped to) difficult to manage. It looks and feels great. You are going to love the material it’s made from and the matte soft touch finish. It also has he little vent hole in the lid (with a rubber seal in the cap to stop leaks) to ensure you can chug water without having to sip, like on a ton of “common” water bottles.Just to make sure, I filled the bottle with water and shook it around like crazy, and not a drop leaked, so the claims of no leaks is accurate.I am happy I choose this product. It feels good, it feels solid, and it looks amazing.
lid is awkward
Purchased to carry in my backpack. Fit well in the backpack, but the lid was awkward to open and close. Replaced this item with the CamelBak Chute Mag BPA Free Water Bottle which is much easier to open and I highly recommend.
