    Bought this as we were going on a motorbike trip and had overnight stays on a ferry with a cabin. Small enough to fit in with limited luggage space. Great to wake up in our cabin and not be forced out for the need of a cuppa. This kettle holds enough water for 1 cup/small mug. Boils quickly, it clicks off but if you don't unplug it after it's boiled it will re-boil. Will be useful when staying in hotels in Europe where they don't always have tea/coffee making facilities in the room. Well chuffed with this, great bit of kit. Earned its keep on the 3 nights we spent on Ferries!!!

    Like Weight, look and ease of use. The silicon tab over the socket plug in came off when removing socket so that a bit annoying, can't get it back on but it's not essential, more aesthetic.

    Good for travelling. Easy to use and make 1 cup of tea at a time. Only thing is it works bit slow . Not as quick as normal kettle. But does the job.

    Having travelled to Europe a few times not all hotels provide tea & coffee making facilities in the room, so opted to buy this portable kettle, which has been invaluable on my European travels.Firstly it's classy looking and looks like speaker.I found it boiled very quickly, less than 5 minutes. Don't fill it to the top or it will spill over and spit hot water everywhere like a regular kettle.Mine did automatically switch off...BUT!!!!... if left plugged in after it automatically switches off it will start to rebuild again after about 3 minutes or so. Which I didn't mind.... but if this is an issue for you, unplug it after it boils.It held roughly 250ml ( not filled to the top) with no issues. Very pleased with this purchase

    OK so I WANTED this to be everything it claimed to be, I really did... unfortunately it was absolutely not. Asides from not being what is said it was, the one I received was actually dangerous, a serious scalding hazard.I bought this to take with me on a foreign work trip, because on a previous one there was not a kettle in my room. I tested it at home before I set off on my travels and I am so glad I did. What was so wrong?1. It was not 400ml - this was one of the reasons I bought this model. I like a large cup of coffee so this was a big plus point for me. However, upon filling it up to the line I realised it was not as much as I expected, and using a measuring jug the amount was 300ml exactly. BAD START2. OK so that asides, I filled it up and put it on to boil. I didn't expect it to boil as fast as my normal kettle and just shy of 5 minutes it started to boil. The water started spitting from the open seal (you can boil with the seal open or the lid off). I mean, this spitting got worse and worse. There was no way it was "Auto Shut Off" as advertised, and I couldn't get near the button at the front without seriously scalding myself, so I switched it off at the plug. I thought of boiling it with the lid off (the instructions stated this was something else that could be done), but this was just as bad. The water started coming up and out of the opening. Again, no way to reach the button so back to the plug. MUCH WORSE. Can you imagine setting this off and then leaving it whilst you do something else? There was no way I was going to take the chance of using this again.I returned the product for a full refund. I'll rethink what I do when I go away, but based on my experience this won't be my solution.

    lets begin with the title,Dont know what they are talking about, the actual volume of water you can boil is 240mls,I measured cause I use it to make feed for my child. So it is misleadingBut It serves the purpose of boiling water so Its not a deciding factor for me personally.It not really shuts down,The thermostat doesn't cut the power and the kettle kept switching on after every 5 minutes. Dont think it is supposed to happen,so be careful.It does boul water slow but it surely does the job.quality-build quality is good,looks good, feels sturdy.Not entirely traps the heat so need heating after about 2 hrs
