One crimp tool to rule them all?Yes I think so!So now for the slightly longer review.The crimp tool comes boxed in a cardboard box with plastic tray.It also comes with each crimping die in a separate little plastic box which is a nice way to keep them safe.First impressions of the crimp tool is its a sturdy bit of kit!It is bigger than most cheaper crimp tools and is the same size and similar weight to my Beta insulated crimper.It has no play in the mechanism and everything feels tight.I was worried the quick release removable jaws would rattle around but they are pretty snug which was a relief.The jaws are really quick and easy to change just open the tool, press the button and slide out.Also a real nice touch for the jaws is they all have both AWG and mm2 markings!This is great for us brits as most cheaper brands only have the American AWG markings which we dont use over here so I really like that.In terms of performance they work well.I tried them with insulated crimps, bootlace ferules and the flag type crimps all crimped nicely!I dont do PV stuff or use the heat shrink style so cant test those but I am sure they will be fine.The flag type crimp die seems to do a better job than my dedicated crimper so thats another bonus!So all in I am happy with this set and it will now be replacing the 3 separate crimp tools in my bag which should save some space and weight!The only downside I can see is they would be difficult to use in a confined space due to their size but I cant really fault that as it allows for good leverage!

These are excellent Ferrule crimpers - so much better than my previous pair, and about the same cost. If you are looking for a set of crimpers then i can highly recommend this product to others.
4.0 out of 5 stars Great Quality Crimper Set With Interchangeable Heads! - But, Quite Expensive?
Although I’m by no means a Professional Electrician, I am quite competent at some little electrical tasks, like for example re-wiring parts of my motorcycle etc. However, what I’ve been missing from my collection of Tools has been a decent Crimper Set? - This one fits the bill and has all the attachments (6 Heads in total), which interchange easily & should suffice for all the jobs I could ever need to do! What makes it really Neat and Professional Looking is the Semi-Hard Storage Case, which fits everything in Safe & Securely. The only downside with it in my view is the Price, which is a bit High at £66.99. Although the Quality is Great, I don’t think it’s worth that many of my hard earned pounds and I’d like to see it more around the £45 mark? Overall, I’m glad I’ve got it and it’ll probably last me a Lifetime, but it’s Quite Expensive! Thank you.

Great tool, I tried many before and this one is far better than the previous ones I had.So far I tried it photovoltaic DC cable and it works like magic.Definitely recommend it.

Brilliant tool that comes with everything needed to start terminating stranded cable from small to large diameter.I was able to crimp a range of different sized sleeve insulated pins without needing to use the built-in adjustment thumb screw, each time the end result was consistent in terms if optimal crimping force required to clamp the cable without completely crushing the wires.I've had problems with stranded cables in sockets and speaker cables, as it's hard to get them in the hole. With mains stranded cables, it's easy to overtighten the screw within plugs, which can damage the conductors and make future socket changes difficult if there's not enough to re-strip the cables. Using sleeve insulated pins stops the stranded cable from becoming messy and provides a reliable and secure connection.It's easy to pick the right size sleeve insulated pin for the stranded cable being used and takes very little time or effort to crimp.The handle of the tool is ergonomic and comfortable to use for extended periods of time, so you'll feel less tired and save time.I have bought a selection of Preciva tools over the years and as with all the rest, these are highly recommended.

Expected more from this crimper as it was double some of the rivals but it crimed insulated plastic so much wider than my Teng or Amp crimper that they won't fit into terminals.Returned for refund.

I normally buy on price. I find a product that sits in the middle of a muddled pack and hedge my bets.However, I needed this crimping tool quickly, so I took a punt. I am NOT disappointed in any way.The tool arrived the next day. It's reassuringly heavy and robust, and the included accessory pack is significant.I hadn't even realised the accessories were included, so I ordered them separately. As I say, I was in a rush.I am very pleased with the crimping tool. It's well presented, well packaged (the box is heavy enough to store the tool and accessories) and I'd highly recommend it to anybody.

I have mixed views about this crimping tool, and although in some ways I find it very good there are some points which are disappointing. The tool itself has a good mechanism which feels positive, and the handle itself is relatively comfortable to use even for repeat jobs. I like that it has six different sets of jaw supplied in order to crimp different work types, but I find it frustrating that they are coded A, B, C, D, E and F but the only place to understand what the coding relates to is in the small instruction leaflet. Once that is lost then the coding doesn’t matter.The situation may have been helped if supplied with a simple, permanent storage box rather than the cardboard and plastic tray it is received in. A proper case could have had the instructions printed on the inside, and helped make this a better tool set. In practice the crimps I’ve made have been fine and I like that the different heads are easily changed too. With a bit more effort this set could have been a good one.

La qualité la puissance sont au rendez-vous. C’est un peu cher mais ça en vaut vraiment le coup.

Crimpatrice semi-professionale, consegnata in una pratica e protettiva custodia, all’interno sono presenti 6 ganasce intercambiabili per crimpare quasi tutti i connettori, ognuna ha la sua sede così come la pinza.Ogni set di ganasce è identificato con una lettera, è presente un piccolo opuscolo che indica quale ganascia utilizzare in base al connettore da dover crimpare (sono presenti le immagini pertanto non bisogna essere esperti del settore).Le ganasce si cambiano in un attimo, basta alzare una linguetta (sistema brevettato) e non servono attrezzi, molto comodo e ben realizzato!L’ergonomia è buona, la pinza si usa facilmente, direi che crimpa piuttosto bene anche se si è alle prime armi.Il prezzo lo considero altino seppur è comunque allineato ai competitors, avrebbero potuto integrare un set di connettori in modo da fornire tutti gli strumenti per chi non è attrezzato ed è alle prime armi.Un altro appunto lo faccio in merito alle istruzioni che sono praticamente assenti, parlano solo di come cambiare le ganasce (che è la cosa più semplice) e non c’è per esempio alcun riferimento alla rotellina che permette di variare la pressione cambiando leggermente il punto di leva.Tuttavia mi sento di assegnare 4 stelle per la qualità di realizzazione e il buon funzionamento.
