I wouldn’t normally think that a completely plain shirt would justify the price tag of thirteen quid, but this one does. The main reason is that it’s a really thick, warm fabric that makes it great Winter wear. The 250gsm fabric feels quite plush, and it’s like wearing two T-shirt layers in one.The fit is also notable. It’s described as “regular fit”, but that might be a polite way of saying “wide fit”, because it’s definitely wider under the arms and down the sides than many standard T-shirt shapes. In black it’s an incredibly forgiving shape. If you’re a little wider in certain areas and need to go up a size to accommodate it, then this is a good option because it allows that width, but without the tell-tale extra length around the waist that shows you’ve had to go up a T-shirt size.The manufacturing quality is good throughout. It’s a very unremarkable design but the hems are all very neatly stitched and everything is tidy. The breast pocket is sensibly broad, though not too deep, but fine as a temporary store for a few coins or an ID card for example.Most single plain T-shirts wouldn’t be worth thirteen quid on their own, but especially if you’re looking for something warmer and/or something wider, this one is.

I'd never heard of the Candy Date brand before seeing this t-shirt (and neither had the internet) so I assume it's been invented for use on Bolo. Luckily they've created a very decent t-shirt to carry the brand and this is a step up from most and for once the photos don't lie. It's very nicely made with neat and precise finishing and a very flat and square chest pocket, just as the photos show.What they can't show is the softness and thickness of the fabric and this is more the quality you'd expect from a designer name (even one you've never heard of) and has a bit of weight and substance. The fit is about right and so you could buy your regular size.It launders fine but I did get a bit of shrinkage lengthways, even though I used a cool 30°C wash. The fabric has more stretch in one direction than the other and they've cut it with the most stretch running widthways, which is great if you're on the beefy side and not so great if you're tall like me. That aside it's a very decent, plain but nicely made t-shirt and maybe one day the brand-name will catch up with the product.

This is a lovely quality t-shirt that fits well.When I ordered this t-shirt it was just a regular size M but the size has since changed to ‘M Plus Tall’. The medium t-shirt I received measures approximately 43” (109cm) around the chest and it’s 26” (66cm) long from shoulder to hem.I’m not keen on the pocket and I didn’t realise it had one when I ordered the t-shirt as it’s quite hard to see in the item photo and it’s not mentioned in the item description.It’s good quality for the price of £9.95 (at the time of review).

I'm really happy and impressed with this t-shirt.Usually clothes on Bolo look good on the pictures but in reality most of the times it comes something different, worse than expected.This time, though, was completely different the experience!The t-shirt is fitting well, Medium size a bit bigger for me so I can call it a bit oversized buy just a bit. Still super comfortable to wear.The fabric here is everything - very soft, strong and a bit stretchy. It is 100% cotton but made so well, the stitches are almost perfectly done, apart from one tiny thread, everything else is perfect! The pocket makes it not that plane, at the same time, discreet and nice!I like it very much, for sure recommended!

The fabric is light, soft, comfortable, and of decent quality. I washed it several times; it washes well without losing colour or shrinking. The stitches are neat and clean; I don't see any loose threads in mine.My usual size is M, and this fits perfectly. The neck is also a good size; it doesn't squeeze into my throat. If you have an athletic figure, this will suit you more.Overall, this is a good quality T-shirt for everyday use at home; I personally won't be wearing this for outgoing. The quality matches the price.I hope this review helps you to make a purchasing decision.

This is a good T-shirt, perfectly sized, well made and comfortable, with a nice off-white colouration. It's a quality piece of clothing. The only thing I would say against is that the pocket is arguably a bit too prominent - it could have been made a little smaller, and/or 'rounded off' on the bottom corners like you often see with chest pockets to 'soften' its appearance a little.
