I’ve never bled brakes before, and this kit contained everything I needed plus instructions on how to go about it (for Shimano hydraulic brakes). You do need your own Allen keys of various sizes to undo several screws. There are various YouTube videos that explain what to do, and it’s worth watching a few of them first before reading through the instructions and doing it yourself. It seems that there are a few different techniques as to the order in which you empty / replenish the oil, but at the end of the day you are replacing the old oil / air bubbles with new oil within the tube, without introducing any more air bubbles. So any of the techniques are ok.Make sure to remove the brake callipers from the frame, and then remove the pads, inserting the supplied block in their place. The reason for this is that you don’t want to get any mineral oil anywhere near the pads or rotors as it will probably ruin them. There was a cable clamp supplied, which the instructions show as being inserted onto the filling tube, but then there’s no further mention of it. I didn’t see the point and therefore didn’t bother using it.

Decided to attempt a brake fluid change on my hard tail bike and this kit made it so simple I was amazed, everything you need is in the box with some instructions the job was done in minutes and my shimano brakes are once again trying to throw me over the bars, good price too.

I would give 5 stars having shopped around definitely value for money to say the least but reduced by one star because the metal adapter there are two adapters for different brand of brakes.The adapter screws into your brake lever then you place the cup onto the adapter rather then screwing into it, the cup bottom has two o rings rather then ring and thread it doesn't feel as snug as I would have thought but still does the job there's no leakage but I can't help but think it's not as air tight as it could be for peace of mind.Having said that worked a treat for my Shimano brakes. P.S it comes with two bottles of 150ml mineral oil not 300ml I only used half of a bottle on brand new Shimano brakes.

Just use the kit to bleed my Shimano XT M8000 front brake.It wasn't working very well and the local bike shop wanted £25 a brake to bleed them.Best bleed kit I've used so far.Hopefully the back brake goes the same.I had to go out and buy a 7mm spanner but apart from that used everything in the kit and didn't need anything else.

Worked well for Shimano disc brakes: BR-MT200
The syringe, caliper wedge and lever reservoir worked well for a brake line flush. Looks like it should last indefinitely.

A signaler qu'il faut un peu d'outillage supplémentaire comme jeu de clefs allène et clé plate de 7 du moins pour du Shimano. Autre point à vérifier ce sont les bulles d'air éventuelles sinon c'est simple d'utilisation et ce même sans trépied avec un peu d'astuce.

Trae todo lo necesario para hacer un sangrado/purgado a los frenos shimano. Los materiales parecen de calidad y además viene con 300 ml de líquido en 2 botes de 150 ml. cada uno.Por poner una pera, el tubito plástico si fuese el doble de largo de lo que es, haría que fuese perfecto.Un 10 por calidad/precio
