I absolutely love it. I wasn't sure we needed an ice machine when my wife proposed it but I eat my words. We used to use a couple of trays and regularly ran out when when the gin and tonics were flowing. Now we can have handfuls of ice almost on demand. the machine is super easy to use and makes ice in 2 sizes. I just fill it up and off it goes. as ice is made I pop it in a bag in the freezer (the machine is not a freezer so its does start to melt if you dont take it out). It has a simple plug to empty any excess water. I would highly recommend this to anyone.

This machine replaced a previous unit from a different supplier, though they all seem to work in the same way: two rows of metal spigots are dipped in a trough of water, the spigots are chilled and ice forms around them in the shape of a bullet, and then they are ejected from the spigots and scooped by an automated paddle into a catch basket. They are remarkably quick at doing this, with a batch taking under 8 minutes. Once it fills the basket it detects this, and stops until either the cubes are used or they melt. The water drains back down into the water reservoir, ready to be reused.This model is very quiet in operation, and works well. My only irritation so far (after a week of use) is that the ice bullets seem "wetter" than my previous machine produced, and therefore if left in the basket for a while they will clump together more. Not the end of the world, and a great value machine.

The pros: it's small, quiet, and makes enough ice for 2 people as long as once in a while you freeze some in the freezes. The only con is that sometimes I could use more, faster, ice. But you'll only get that from ice makers twice as big.

When I first used this product, I did wonder how long it would take to get a reasonable amount of ice. It started very slowly…then, much to my delight, it sort of revved up and whoosh - lots of ice started to come at a faster pace! I do what many others do and tip a full basket load into a zip freezer bag, pop into freezer, and voila! Ice always ready and available. I absolutely love this machine and as I use so much ice, it’s saving me money in instead of having to buy bags if the stuff. The ice cubes are bullet shaped and not that big, even the large size, but who cares when there is such a huge amount being made! My machine is on a minimum of three times a week and I now could not be without it. It’s a smart little thing, too and doesn’t look out of place in my kitchen. Just a quick heads up, though. It does release hot air from the side vents/fans, which I found out after leaving a rather nice bottle of wine by the side of it. All in all a fabulous ‘gadget’ and one I would not like to be without!

I’ve cubes good large size or smaller if choose, self cleaning function, ice cubes in 5 minutes, not noisy at all.Happy with purchase.

The machine makes ice very quickly which is great. The ice basket is not sized properly and jiggles around too much causing it to interfere with the ice level sensor. This makes it stop producing ice even when it might be nearly empty. Not a show stopper but pretty annoying.

The perfect ice
I fell in love with this ice machine recently when we were at the beach. Our house was equipped with one and that gave me the opportunity to put it to the test! Once we arrived back home, I ordered the same unit! One downfall is that it is slow at first but once it cycles through a few times, it starts cranking out the ice! This machine is affordable and gets the job done!

Besser als erwartet
Sehr aufwändige Verarbeitung, wirklich Edelstahl eingesetzt, anstatt nur lackiertes Plastik. Lautstärke ist super, Eiswürfelproduktion entspricht der Spezifikation. Ich bin sehr zufrieden.
