Clearly a lot of thought has been put into the design and contents of this finance journal. Explanations are provided throughout, guiding you through the process of budgeting, tracking expenses, and setting goals. The journal covers a period of 12 months. Saving tips are provided, along with progress trackers and financial reviews at key points during the year. Financial affirmations and other psychological aids are also included.The journal is made of high-quality materials: a beige vegan leather cover, and sizable metal binders. Tab dividers separate months. It should survive the year in good condition.This is not cheap, costing £29 at the time of review, which might be a negative if the goal is to budget better. But it is a high-quality product, and provides a lot of added value relative to standard budget planners.

Very strange first impressions I wasn't expecting set a large and heavy gift box and planner, journalVery impressed with the overall feel the instruction guides inside and very comprehensive and quite easy to follow it does take a little bit of reading to get the hang of the journal but this is exceptional quality and a very structural way to manage your finances I've got this for my daughter who's just on the first road for budgeting and household brilliant very impressed with the quality look the feel and the price

The front cover texture feels real nice and the strap that holds the book shut remains tight and easy to slide on and off. Inside the book there are a number of useful pages, you have monthly tracking, budget planning, lists, tracking of your progress, notes and goals.The book is held together with a ring based spine, this makes turning the pages easy and keeps the book sturdy to use. I have had travelled a few times with the book in bag and the spines rings haven't lost shaped considering I thought they would.

This comes in a very smart, serious looking box, so it is ideal for gifting. I feel, at my age, I know how to budget and bookkeep, but that this planner would be ideal for a young person just leaving home for University or for a young couple setting up house for the first time. However, I see there are several similar items on the market at present, all of which are considerably cheaper than this one, so I feel it is overpriced.

The Head Plan Finance Journal has been a great help for me keeping an eye on my finances. Not only do the inspirational quotes keep me encouraged, but the layout provided in the journal is ideal for keeping on track. I've managed to plan and arrange my monthly spending, which has transformed the way I manage my money. Additionally, the leather covering of the journal feels great and is of a high quality. Overall, it's a great planner and I highly recommend it.
