    I'm consistently impressed by Neewer kit. It's always precisely engineered and, in my experience, performs just as well as its more expensive counterparts. Currently retailing at £114.99, this NW700-C TTL II flash gives you a lot for your money. It's compatible with Canon DSLR cameras with standard hotshoe, and it supports E-TTL II autoflash exposure system (E-TTL stands for Evaluative Through-the-Lens, a technology that allows more accurate flash deployment and better photo results).The flash doesn't have to be used in full auto mode, though. Photographers who want a higher level of control over their craft may want to take advantage of the flash's TCM feature (TTL-Convert-to-Manual). In TCM mode the flash takes an initial automatic TTL light-metering then reverts to manual mode so that the settings can be altered to the photographer's satisfaction, in order to achieve specific lighting results. Very handy.The pan and tilt capabilities (which are excellent - 360-degree pan and 127-degree tilt) make aiming the flash easy, as well as allowing the user to bounce the expelled light off surfaces (as opposed to aiming it directly at the subject). Again, very handy.Multi-flash mode uses, as the name implies, a burst of flashes deployed at regular intervals. Neewer describes this stroboscopic effect as being able to "capture the continuous motion of a dynamic object in a single photo" but that's not technically correct - if it captured continuous motion of a dynamic object in a single photo, the object would appear as a blur, not as multiple clearly defined images positioned in a way that implies the object is in motion. A more accurate description of what multi-flash mode achieves - the results show several static phases of an object in motion, all in one photograph. It's a feature not everyone will want to use (and using it depletes battery power much faster than taking single flash shots does), but it can achieve some fantastic results.The screen on the flash has a bright display that's easy to read. Buttons are intuitively placed and their functions clearly marked. Good design.This is a quality flash with a host of useful features. It's user friendly too, although I do recommend reading the instruction booklet all the way through, then reading it all the way through again, before diving into using the flash. That will remove most of the guesswork, ensuring that you get the most out of this excellent piece of kit.An easy five stars.

    Good quality flash speedlite from Neewer made from good materials and is built to last.I have been using this for just over three months as an off camera flash with a Godox trigger & receiver and as you would expect I have had no issues, I also tested as an on camera flash with a Canon EOS 90D, 250D & 7D and I can confirm It works with all three cameras BUT once again just like another Neewer flash speedlite I have if you use the speedlite in the camera hot shoe and use the camera settings to change the flash power you can only go down to 1/128 but if you use the dial on the speedlite you can go down to 1/256 and it fires at this power this happens on all three cameras I guess there must be a reason for this but I am not sure why and to be honest I have not looked into it, for me personally it is not a game changer as if the flash is connected to the camera I tend to use the flash controls and not the camera as it is faster.The flash speedlite requires four AA batteries, I have been using rechargeable batteries and I am getting very good battery life but of course it will depend on the power setting you have the flash on, I would have preferred if it had a rechargeable battery BUT I can not complain about the battery life I am getting with the AA batteries.The buttons/controls on the flash speedlite is very responsive and very easy to setup.Overall I am happy with the flash speedlite BUT I do feel it is slightly overpriced.

    Habe sonst nur Canon Blitzgeräte. Bin aber mit dem Neewer 700 zufrieden. Habe ihn 5 Stunden lang getestet mit verschiedenen Kameras. Auch mit Fel Belichtungskorrektur..Es ist ein leicht zu bedienendes Blitzgerät dass für Partys und Hochzeiten vollkommen ausreichend ist. Und billig ist es auch noch.
