Did oil change with this plug and washer used both of them and both leaked after fitting . oil all over my drive not impressed at all
O Ring does not seal well
Bought seeing that it was a proper fit for the 2011 VW Touareg Used a proper torque wrench and torqued to VW spec 30nm - plug leaked substantially. Removed - expected some crushing of the O-ring - could not observe any crushing of the copper O-Ring - unfortunately I bought two of these drain plugs plus o-ring. A waste of many and possibly deceptive fitment information. Very disappointed by seller.
Beware - Poor Quality Sealing Gasket
Bought these to replace the OE drain plug on my Audi A6. Installed on last oil change about 3 weeks ago. Fast forward to this weekend and noticed a spot of oil on garage floor. Next day the spot was huge! Got a chance to work on this today, found the plug was tight but oil was leaking around sealing washer. Removed and found high spots on washer. Neither washer is anywhere close to flat and I suspect it’s much too hard to crush correctly. I stoned each side of washers, results can be seen in photos. What a mess this made, probably a full quart of oil soaked the fuzzy belly pan. Took hours to clean up.
Crush washer didn't crush---caused oil leak
Item fit properly. But crush washer didn't crush properly. Caused bad oil leak. Had to use 2nd and torque beyond properly level to stop this item from dripping. Worried to get item out next oil change. Won't buy again.
