5.0 out of 5 stars Nice for a Small Room
Our living room is about 4.5m x 3.8m and all in plaster or stone. We have a Samsung 55" OLED, so I wanted to stay in the family. At the time of purchase, October 2023, this was a £600 system, which I didn't want to pay. It went on sale for £253 and I snapped it up.This room is far too small and there are far too few plug sockets to handle a 5.1, 7.1 or 9.1 system. (Anyone who lives in a 130-year-old house like we do understand.)This is a good happy medium for us. Online tech reviews gave it high marks (even for 600 quid) while criticising the Dolby Atmos. In a room this small, with stone walls to bounce the sound around, we think it works great. Movies, especially modern-day action ones with lots of sound design sound three dimensional. The Q Symphony sound is wonderful.Another criticism by the online tech writers said it doesn't handle music well. I am playing a CD on my Panasonic UHD player and it sounds full. I am listening to a symphonic score (the 50th anniversary remastering of Live and Let Die) and, to me, it is fine.I am older, so this is all golly-gee-whiz stuff to me. I grew up with 240i and no stereo. To me, this sounds like a cinema and we are immensely happy with it.Set-up is a breeze, especially because we have a Samsung TV. I have had no issues pairing my phone or tablet to the soundbar for when I want to listen to a podcast or audiobook. You do need good HDMI 2.1 cables (be sure to look up the specs).Good price, good system. If you have a larger room and more places to plug in speakers, then go with a bigger system, but for our little parlour, this is perfect and far better than the telly speakers.
5.0 out of 5 stars Good sound. Easy to set up. Excellent value.
A couple of years ago, having bought a new Samsung TV, we bought an earlier version of this soundbar. It was a disaster. Never worked properly then failed completely. Took a long time to get a refund etc etc. So we went back to our old faithful Onkyo AV receiver. Two years on, the Onkyo, which must be well over 20 years old, finally failed so we were looking for a soundbar again. After a lot of research this Q600C looked the best option. Did everything we needed, fitted our TV unit, and was compatible with our Samsung TV, giving the bonus of Q Symphony, where the system mixes sound from the TV speakers and the soundbar. This really does make a difference. I'd note that wireless rear speakers are available separately should you want proper surround sound. The soundbar was extremely easy to set up, almost everything happening automatically. We went for a wired HDMI connection between the soundbar and the TV to get the benefit of HDMI ARC although you can set it up to work wirelessly via bluetooth should you prefer. The subwoofer connection is wireless, giving you maximum flexibility in positioning it. The soundbar also works as a bluetooth speaker, allowing 2 smart phones to be linked, and switching between functions is easy.My only slight criticism is that the subwoofer lacks real heavy bass punch. It's still light years better than the TV speakers but, compared to, say, the Onkyo it replaced, the bass is not that powerful. If the Onkyo was cranked right up the floor vibrated; not with the Samsung (which I note is about half the weight)! At the price we paid on Bolo, which is £200 less than we could have bought it for locally at the time, this soundbar is a very good buy.
5.0 out of 5 stars Great sound improvement

4.0 out of 5 stars Happy with the purchase
This is my first soundbar so have no comparison. It sounds great when watching movies that support Dolby digital or Dolby Atmos etc. Definitely an upgrade from the TV speakers. The device it's self and subwoofer are heavy and feel very solid
5.0 out of 5 stars Bargain soundbar!
Bought this to replace old Yamaha soundbar, cost £700. Investigated full price replacement offerings and quickly realised would need to spend substantial amount, all with 1 or 2 years warranty. Product arrived less than 12 hours from order, thanks Bolo! 3 years warranty £19.99 extra! Set up in 20 minutes, very impressed with sound quality, in particular speech clarity. Fits perfectly in front of tv, subwoofer not enormous. Downloaded & printed manual. Downloaded firmware upgrade to usb stick to resolve update & resolve occasional sound drop outs. Have now used for 2 weeks, sound excellent, bass good enough. Used bluetooth yesterday to link to portable digital audio player, took 1 minute. Music quality excellent and plenty of noise and bass! Saved over £300. Saw latest version in department store recently, looks exactly the same for hundreds of pounds more. Absolute bargain!
5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent sound quality
I like the sound quality and ease of setup. It looks really nice. Not so pleased that after gaming I have to manually return sound from Game to Adaptive Sound when watching TV.

Fits perfectly under TV on a bracket and with only the sub woofer no worries about extra space for satellite speakers. Great value for money and fantastic sound fir all film types.
