Had electric ones before, branded, did not work too well, needed to shake & fiddle, mostly pepper not good, worked but not as good as manual ones so was little unsure if these would be any better.These are great, just work, perfectly ground salt & pepper.Charging is handy as can just top up from time to time and know ready to work. others were battery, lasted ages but never quite new if loosing power & shame to waste batteries.Does leave a little salt in the hold after a while (which again I was worried about but better than on the table direct) & really not a problem, just tip out now & again.So pleased I found these, perhaps others are as good but previous were more expensive, looked the part but just not great.

Love it. Almost. I use pink himalayan salt, and black/mixed whole pepper. Now, when it comes to grinding salt, it does great job at it, but you need to pay attention, because even if you set the grinding to the finest, a loot of salt comes out, so be carefull. I got used to it and it's easy for me to know when it's enough and to spread it evenly. You just have to be careful at the beginning as it really grinds the salt. When it comes to whole pepper balls, it's the other way around, and that is why I am giving 4 stars not 5. If you set the grinding to the max fine, it barely grinds anything, you'd have to wait a looong time to pepper anything, and if you like things a bit more spicy, well, you will need a little patience. You can set it to mid fine/mid coarse, but still, it goes quite slowly and some pepper balls are not evenly grinded and come out quite coarse. That is the part I don't like because I hate biting on big pieces of black pepper. I think I found a happy medium, but the grinders could use some improvement for grinding pepper. Would I buy again? Yes, I would, definitely. I am just being very picky here, but it's a great product. The pepper thing is a bit dissapointing, I know grinding pepper takes more time than salt, but the grinding abilities of the device should be worked on a little to better deal with pepper, it'slike the engine of this device struggles with pepper. Or maybe chaging the mechnism to select grinding thickness would help. If you want to use it for soups, sauces, etc. it's perfect, just not for me for certain meals. Most people I know love this type.of grind, just not me personally. I use them daily but taking one star away, as I bought it specifically for the fine grinding of pepper, which it does not do (not to my liking and not as per advertisement/pictures). Battery lasts really long which is great, I thought the light on the grinders will be stronger, but after using, I found that it's plenty enough of light. Easy to use, easy to refill. Quite big, but sleek design and ease of use with one hand only. Looks really good in my kitchen and on a dinning table. Guys, I'm giving honest feedback for everyone who has a very particular preferences how they like their spices grinded, but as I said before, I use it daily and I would buy again.

I bought these a while ago then I had a problem with the charging station I contacted the company who were very helpful and within 2 days I received a complete new set. I would definitely recommend this company.

Look nice, easy to use and keep charged.You do get salt and pepper in the base but that's kind of to be expected.Filling them isn't too bad either.

I am very happy with these grinders. They are in everyday use and seem to be handling it well. I haven't needed to recharge them yet so that is a good sign. They look good on the kitchen bench as well as the dining table. A successful purchase.
