    These long nose pliers arrived in a simple padded envelope with the jaws wrapped in plastic.I got them to replace a similar pair that got mislaid.I’ve already used them quite a bit and given them some quite rough treatment and they’ve been fine.The jaws have good serrations and grip well. The wire cutters cut cleanly and without much effort required. The handles are comfortable and don’t slip.One thing these have that my others didn’t is a serrated ‘crushing’ area behind the hinge (just below the handles). This is a remarkably useful addition and makes the pliers very versatile. Since they arrived a couple of weeks ago they’ve become my ‘go to’ pliers.I haven’t had these pliers long enough to comment on their long term durability but I’ll update this review if there’s anything to report.At £8.99 these are comparably priced with those available at the local trade warehouse but they don’t have the grip behind the hinge. It’s a feature I never knew I needed but because of it I’m giving these 5 stars.
