Both my cats benefit from having relatively frequent small meals rather than big meals, so I initially bought one of these feeders to try give a 5am feed and it worked well so I bought a second feeder a couple of weeks later (as each cat has a different preferred kibble). I find the feeders to be great value for money and work well.I had a PetMate Le Bistro feeder many years and that had a flaw in that one of my cats could stick his paw up the shute and jiggle the rubber paddles to self-dispense food - I'm happy to report that this Faroro feeder doesn't have that issue which is great.The set up process is a little bit fiddly with a small LCD screen and just 4 buttons, but they've done about the best they could and I didn't find it complicated (I think some higher-end feeders have apps, but a this bargain price point you can't expect that) and it was easier than the old Le Bistro I used to have to set up. One minor niggles is that if you want to temporarily disable one of the timed slots by setting the portion size to 0 it seems to forget the timing (so you have to set the time again for that slot when reenabling it), but that's minor. Even without batteries it retains all the configuration if you're powering it just off USB and you need to unplug it to move it (or there's a power cut) then you only need to update the current time when you plug it back in which is great.It's worth noting that I did have an issue with one of the feeders after about 5 months of use - the motor started operating very slowly - but Faroro have a support email address listed in their instruction booklet which I then emailed and they were helpful with resolving the issue. I emailed them a description of the issue and a video showing the problem and, to their credit, they responded very quickly (within a couple of working days) with the offer of a replacement or refund and then quickly followed through on my choice so I was happy to have a replacement - I can't fault their service.

This is a really good feeder, very compact and with simple mechanics, its easy to assemble, the timer is easy to use, there is an audio available but I haven't bothered with that, power supply is via a USB and three pin plug backed up by 3 D cell batteries which are understandably not provided. This is to support the device should you have a power cut.As well as setting the feed times there is the option to increase the portion of food served, this device will only dispense DRIED food

Good compact machine, for 2 cats the size is perfect.The instructions took a little getting your head around, and the portions are smaller than the last machine we had so 8 two times a day is working fine.Good to have mains and battery power, not sure what happens with a power outage , that’s a test I’ll have to take.

Ordered one, it’s easy to assemble, the setting it up is somehow easy once you get into it. Looks nice, frosted plastic is a nice choice to see how much food is left without opening. Doesn’t feel flimsy. We got second one too, both of them can hold 2.5 kg bag of food with space to spare. The lid I nice and cats definitely won’t be able to open it even if the just flip it over. And all this for this fantastic price of £30. I’m really, really happy with the product.One thing I’m not keen about it is the bowl, I wish there was an option to change it. My cats are not that keen to metal bowl, we prefer ceramic, but if we switch it the food falling under bowl cause it’s slightly smaller. In addition metal bowl is making dispensing food quite loud, ceramic would had have much softer sound.Plus the silicon sachet that comes with the feeder to keep the humidity in control. There’s one. On producent shop there is no option to buy more. But wired.But yes, great product. Bought two. Unfortunately your cats may realise, since you’re not feeding them yourself, that they don’t need you anymore 😄

Easy to set up, once you tip it up so you can see the teeny screen. Bought this to kerb the 4am shenanigans (it worked- we now wake at the alarm). Extended to all other kibble meals for regularity and portion size. Our feline overlord is an overeater, given the chance, so now has 5 measured meals per day at regular intervals. No more begging and pleading starvation, or scoffing and being sick. We only give pouch food in small portions to supplement. She has lost a little weight and has not been sick since we got this gizmo. She is more playful and contented, not fixated on conning extra portions out of each of us.

Feeder looks nice and dispenses biscuits well, when it feels like it! Took hours trying to set up, following written instructions and watching video. Found programming far too complicated, even hubby couldn’t sort it and he’s a tech pro! There is no reset button to start again, after making timing/speaking errors, and you are stuck with first attempt. Total waste of money and now in the local dump. Couldn’t even give to charity because has my voice on it.

I can sleep! Finally no scratching at the door at 4am. Well made, packaged and easy to set up. The controls are quite intuative, but it comes with excellent instructions anyway. Works perfectly and its super easy to configure how much food and when. The hopper is big enough to feed a monster of a cat for a very long time. Easy to clean and well designed (with things like a dessicant holder to keep the food dry). Seriously, if your cat is keeping you awake wanting food this is exactly what you need.

Super produit, surtout pour les personnes qui comme moi, ne veulent pas passer les 10 prochaines années de leur vie à remplir la gamelle 😅Au début j'ai opté pour une machine avec l'application smartphone mais il n'y a vraiment pas mieux que la programmation manuelle !Alors que j'ai passé 2 heures à essayer de faire marcher la première machine "que j'ai renvoyé le lendemain de la réception" cella, sa mise en place c'est fait en deux-deux.Il y a un petit coup de main à prendre la premier fois mais si non une fois les repas planifiés.... c'est GÉ-NI-AL !Un petit conseil suivre le manuel d'instructions à la lettre et ne sautez pas les étapes, ça ne sert à rien !Si non réglez l'heure en dernier car tant que tous les repas ne sont pas programmés l'horloge ne sera pas enregistré...Et réglez le message en premier car ils s'enregistre pour tous les repas, on ne peut pas enregistrer des messages différents pour chaque repas. " ce n'est pas plus mal car si non, on ne va pas s'en sortir 😅"Et autre chose sur l'enregistrement il se déclenche au moment de la distribution des croquettes et 2 fois en suivant la distribution pour inviter les chats à venir manger " en tout 3 fois"Vraiment ! Une super Machine ! Pratique, Fonctionnelle, et fait économiser du temps et de l'argent car les croquettes molles ils n'en veulent pas et du coup "poubelle"...Alors foncez vous n'allez pas le regretter
Excelente comedero automático
Compré éste por la oferta que se queda a muy buen precio para lo que suelen costar la mayoría. Funciona muy bien, y una vez que le has dado una lectura rápida al manual, no es difícil de configurar. Mantienes pulsado el botón de la tuerca y entras en modo configuración, y vuelves a pulsar la tuerca para avanzar entre las funciones que ofrece: Configuración de hora -> Elegir Número de ración (máximo 6) -> Elegir tamaño de la ración -> Activar/Desactivar mensaje de audio -> Hora de la ración seleccionada. Y ya está. Con los botones + y - modificas cada función. Vuelves a mantener pulsado el botón de la tuerca hasta que salgas de la configuración y listo. Esa es la rutina cada vez que lo tengas que usar cuando tengas que ausentarte de casa. La configuración se queda guardada si lo desenchufas.Se puede grabar un mensaje de audio de hasta 30 segundos que suena justo antes de caer la ración y de nuevo después. La calidad del audio no es buena y no tiene mucho volumen. Se junta justo con el pienso cayendo y con el ruido cayendo sobre el cuenco metálico menos se oye aún. Así que ni lo uso.También puedes hacer que caiga la ración de manera manual con sólo pulsar un botón.El depósito para el pienso tiene bastante capacidad, y en la tapa le puedes poner una bolsita que evita la humedad. Por lo que el pienso siempre estará en óptimas condiciones.El diseño es bonito, bien acabado y resistente. Funciona con cable USB conectado a un cargador típico de móvil, o con 3 pilas de tipo D. Pero la opción de las pilas la descarto porque ya con tener que comprar las pilas y un cargador para éstas te gastas lo mismo que otro comedero. Por lo que no puedo decir cuánto duran las pilas.Poco más que añadir, muy contento con el producto y tranquilo con mis gatos que tienen su comida cuando no esté en casa y me evito que pasen muchas horas sin comer.

Es lo que buscaba. A una de mís gata le han diagnosticado diabetes y tiene que llesvar un control del pienso que come así como comida especial. Estaba buscando un comedero que tuviese para varias tomas, este tiene para 6 raciones, y que fuera inclinado, ya que mí gata tiene en morro corto y no puede comer en cuencos planos. Este me ha encantado. Tiene para programar 6 comidas a diferentes horas y para poner varias raciones en casa comida, cada ración son unos 6gr, es muy fácil de programar, tiene para grabar voz aunque yo no lo uso, y para poder dar porción extra, que a mí me va bien cuando otra de mis gatas se come la comida de la que está con pienso especial. Al principio le daba miedo y no quería comer de él pero al segundo día ya se le pasó. Lo he puesto en alto ya que la gata a la que va dirigido nexesita comer en alto sin forzar las cervicales. Recomendable 200%
