I am something of a fountain pen nerd, I have loads of them, this one though, is fantastic, it’s one of the best writers I have, I’d peg it for a pen 3-4 times the price based on its performance. I bought this as a bit of a random try, but I keep coming back to it as my everyday writer.Then… it also comes with 2 different styles of converter to use proper ink, and a pack of cartridges.I love this thing, it beats out my lamb’s my Ellingtons, my Parker’s, even my toms studio pen.I wasn’t expecting much, but, this is a top tier fountain pen. Do not miss out if you like them, or even want to try one for the first time…

I bought this for an anniversary gift for my partner. It writes so well and has enough ink to last a sufficiently long amount of time. The only issue was the instructions didn’t say how to load the ink but nothing a quick google didn’t fix. Not enough to mark down the 5 stars

From the description I thought there would be a couple of nibs to interchange but there was only one. I wanted to use the medium size but it came with only a fine nib.

I’ve always wanted a fountain pen and finally decided to get one. This one is so good! It looks very posh and is not too heavy when writing either. There are extra ink tubes that they’ve put in the box, which is so helpful but have also put a syringe if you want to replace the ink yourself. The ink flows very nicely onto the paper and it is very easy to use and replace if the ink runs out.

The on site picture suggests something special. In fact the nib is fine rather than medium and struggles to produce anything approaching a fluent line. The flow is poor and letters fade while the pen skips. i’ve tried the pen with different inks (Waterman, Diamine, Herbin and Zalantan’s own cartridges that came with the pen) but the result, or rather lack of one was always the same. I’ve also tried various sorts of paper. I realised the pen was hopeless too late to return it so I shall be throwing it away instead. Pity, but there’s nothing so useless as a malfunctioning pen.

Surprisingly high quality at this price
I now actually look forward to writing. This pen has nice heft and a beautiful finish. After a short break-in, it writes with ultimate smoothness. I will surely be buying another one. Recommended highly.
Perfect
I use this thing for every day, writing, signatures, important documents. I love the fact that the flow never stops unless you’re out of ink and you always get a superior look to the documentation that you’re signing. Overall, classic looking pen that makes everything look official.
Decent pen
I do need to preface this review by saying this was my first fountain pen ever.I use this pen daily at work and it seems to works fine, though it does write a bit inconsistently. To be fair though not sure if this is due my inexperience with fountain pens rather than any true fault of the pen itself. I did not rinse the nib prior to initial use which I've since found is a thing that may have contributed to the inconsistent ink flow initially. Flow has continued to improve with my continued use so I do tend to attribute most writing issues with my inexperience. Additionally the feel of the pen varies quite a bit, sometimes gliding smooth as butter across the paper and other times feeling more like a rough pencil. Again this could be due my inexperience with fountain pens.The pen comes with two converters in addition to a few cartridges which was a nice surprise, though I'm still not sure of the differences between the two converters other than size, but maybe I'm missing something there.My only real criticism of the pen is the finish where you place your fingers gets all chipped up from the cap. I've been using the pen daily and it is initially a very sharp looking pen but it now has dings all over the metal finish making it much less attractive looking. It still looks pretty good with the cap on, though I've noticed the metal finish on the band had also begun to show signs of chipping.
