I love Ion8 bottles! They are the perfect bottles, and I have tried loads! They make drinking water so much smoother without having to stop to take a breath, like other bottles. I've got about ten of them - different sizes and materials.This one is vacuum insulated, and it does keep the water cold for long. I haven't tried hot water or coffee in it. The quality is what you would expect from an Ion8 bottle.As far as water bottles go, the Ion8 bottles are definitely worth your money.(No, I'm not paid by Ion8 to give this review. They are just one of the best products I have ever bought (that's why I have lots of them now)!)

We’ve had a few of these. They last well and are genuinely leak proof and keep the contents cool. I slightly prefer the older model lids but have got used to the new design. They’ll pick up some dings if you drop them the dents only add character.

The media could not be loaded. This is definitely my favourite water bottle by far! Keeps water cold for hours which is great as I love my water to be ice cold. It has definitely encouraged me to drink more water and fill up from the tap rather than buying single use bottled water, so it’s good for the planet for sure. It also doesn’t leak or have a straw which can get gross or get lost. The lid flicks open with the push of a button and clips back securely, it has a lock to prevent you from accidentally opening it while walking, running, hiking etc. It is very stylish, comes in beautiful colours (I got aqua) and thin enough for car drink holders. The only reason I gave it 4 stars is because I used the hook once on my bag and the paint chipped off of the hook I was so upset as I like my things to be in pristine condition and I take good care of my stuff, I know this is bound to happen after some time but not days after getting it especially for the price as it’s not cheap. Overall I am very happy and will definitely invest in another one (I think I’ll get the blue next.)

I admit I didn’t read the description of this properly - so when I opened it it was smaller than I expected, and I also probably wouldn’t have bought a stainless steel bottle as I’ve had them previously and didn’t enjoy drinking from them and found them heavy. BUT! The size of this is actually perfect for me - it’s small enough to fit in the bottle section of my bag, and I actually think conversely that I’ll drink more because of the size, because I’ll finish it quicker.It’s not heavy like I would have thought, plus I wanted a plastic top to sip from (literally only reason I bought it to be honest) so it does everything I need. PLUS it’ll keep the temperature of my drink! So yeah, thought I was buying a basic plastic bottle, but got a nice surprise. Only negative is the bottle is a little marked on the front but it’s not noticeable and I can live with it.

We have had many steel bottles in the past, but I don't think they were vacuum insulated. I bought this as a gift for my gf and she uses it every day, nice wide opening to make it easy to drink from, and the double insulation keeps things colder for longer. If you drop some ice cubes in there in the morning (another handy reason to have the wider opening) then your water is still freezing cold at lunch time. We sometimes do ours the night before and put in the fridge, so that the water and bottle are nicely chilled and ready to grab the next morning.The clip seals the lid shut nicely, so it doesn't accidentally open in your bag or if it falls over in the car. We got the red, its a nice vibrant colour. Very happy with this.

Just received this bottle. It’s lighter than my previous ion8 bottle which was double walled insulated stainless steel. I highly doubt this one is double walled. I just searched for a double walled ion8 bottle and nothing came up, only insulated. Not good, ion8! I have an ion8 bottle that is only insulated and it doesn’t keep water as cold as the one that is double walled as well.UPDATE: I have now had the bottle over two weeks and used it daily. It does keep the water quite cool but if the bottle gets tipped, say 45 degrees or more, it leaks. I have had a few books damaged on the bottoms. The clip on the bottle is not as easy to press as on style number one.

Like the size and appearance. The interior is stainless and good quality. The thing I like most is the pop opening to get to the contents. Makes it quick and easy to use. Holds coldness well.
Superior water bottle
Diameter is narrow, so can fit in pockets. Light weight for an insulated bottle. Easy to open and securely lock closed. Dishwasher-safe cleaning. Doesn't affect taste of water.

Love the flip top
I really love this water bottle. I first bought the 32oz. The only bummer was that it doesn’t fit in most cup holders (only fit in the cup holder of 1 of our 3 cars) I bought the next size down 17oz. It fits in the cup holder but way too small. I wish there was a size between the two that fit in a standard cup holder.
