Truly superior roast. We all like different coffees, but this is the best roast ive ever had, maybe cuba from my local coffee merchants is as good as this one. A perfect day starter, full of aroma, foams well. Beans are equally and beautifully roasted with such a great little sheen, they look like AI generated, even to pour them out of bag is a pleasure. Feels, looks, smells, tastes reach and quality. Fully recommended.

I bought these beans out of curiosity as I've never come across Japan coffee. On reading their blurb there doesn't seem to be any any connection with the Country, I quote "Our blends are responsibly sourced from South America, predominantly Brazil and Colombia, and all from 100% Rainforest Alliance farms - giving you the assurance that your coffee is only sourced from sustainable coffee-producing communities."That said they make a great but not overly strong cup of coffee with no hint of bitterness and a good crema.The sealable 250g packs are a bonus if you don't have an airtight storage container.I may well buy again but am still on a quest for my ideal bean.

A superb full flavoured roast but without any hints of burnt bitterness. Not intimidatingly strong despite the 5/5 rating. Highly recommended and great value.

We've been using this coffee for about a year, since first discovering it in only one posh supermarket. Since then it's disappeared from the shelves and appears to only be available on here and one other online supermarket (which is almost always out of stock). Haven't found anything quite like it, smooth, good flavour, not too strong and the beans are nice and dry so leave no sticky residue in the grinder, unlike numerous others. Excellent value for money when on offer.

My wife and I consume it for breakfast, then for a fix or fixes later in the day. It's suavely robust and adds hauteur to duos with frothed-up milk. If you don't own a frother, I'd get one if I were you...as well as a bean-grinder, some filters and a vacuum flask. Instant-coffee will then become an aberration, as it did for us:faintly, quaintly ridiculous.

Used this blend now for quite some time very consistent and suits the water in our area. If you used the correct grind and water temperature roughly 90C it produces a lovely cup of coffeeNote ! Never use boiling water it damages the flavour.
