These give an absolutely beautiful effect but I’m afraid my bigger takeaway on opening them is to be prepared for glitter EVERYWHERE. They come as 24 large blooms - probably a bit larger than life if anything - with separate picks and clips for mounting. Each poinsettia is made of layers of thin, flocked red fabric and glitter-coated gold foliage (holly leaves, pine etc) and they do look very pretty and perfectly festive. They are packed in two plastic bags and come out needing a little shaping - the stiffness of the gold bits helps the thinner red petals to keep their shape but a few of them have still been folded in the bag so need a bit of smoothing and reshaping. I also noticed that the flowers have been stacked and tend to stick together a bit so if you come up short on numbers, go back and have a look and you may find some of them are doubled up. You put them on the picks or clips yourself which is very easy, the settings just insert into a hole in the base of the flower and both types fit quite firmly. I loved that you get a choice of fitting. They look beautiful - honestly, I prefer these glitzy ones to the more realistic plain red I have been offered in the past - and 24 large blooms is a lot for your money (£13.49 at time of review). I can’t wait to start decking out my cottage in festive cheer. But do be warned that these shed badly. I was sitting in bed when I opened them and I expect I will be finding glitter adhering to my sheets and skin well into the new year, and that’s not counting the puddle of it that was left in the bag.

On initial inspection they look very festive. But after opening the bag I took out a single flower decoration and was immediately covered in glitter dust.Each flower has its own separate stem which you need to secure yourself. Which in turns means you are further covered in glitter.I would imagine children would enjoy putting the flowers together, however I would not recommend using these for your tree, unless you want the entire tree and the rest of your room covered in glitter.

These artificial poinsettia flowers are very pretty and I like the fact that you have the option to make them into clips or attach the stems. They’re ideal for decorating Garlands, Wreaths and Trees.While they look good they do shed a LOT of glitter, in fact there was a big pile of glitter in the bag when they arrived which was a bit of a nuisance to clean up. But that is the case with a lot of Christmas decorations.Priced at £14.99 with an 8% off discount code available at the time of review makes them comparatively priced to other similar flowers on Bolo.Overall, I am pleased with them, not so much the cleanup involved with having them.
