    I bought the set of 8 packing bags in April 2023. My first impression was that they were made of thin material with light zippers, and the internal straps were not spaced to provide high compression. On the plus side, these bags were rectangular except for the shoe bag and laundry bag, so they would fit into suitcases easily.For a nine-day family vacation, I selected the underwear bag, the second largest clothes bag, the toiletry bag, and the shoe bag. First, I rolled undershirts and undershorts for the underwear bag. Several socks went into the remaining space. When I gently closed the zipper, the little bag felt like a solid brick – job accomplished! Next, the clothes bag was able contain a few polo shirts, golf shorts, pyjamas, and extra socks. The internal straps kept the clothes in place – another job done. The toiletry bag with a flap and a couple layers of pockets provided padding for my electric shaver case and power plug, along with a toothbrush and a couple personal items. The shoe bag held outdoor sandals and plastic bags to bring back dirty clothes. My packing was complete and everything fit into a hardshell carry-on suitcase.My wife used a similar set of bags, opting for the largest bag for her clothes, which she folded flat. While she took more shirts and pants, her bags closed and went into her carry-on without problems.The plastic hook on the toiletry bag allowed the bag to hang on a towel bar. This is a brilliant feature for vanities that may lack counterspace. Also, the toothbrush pocket has a zippered mesh side to let moisture escape, which is an advantage over a makeup bag, shaver bag, or other closed bag. These details seem trivial, but are quite thoughtful and were a benefit on our trip.The travel bags organized our clothes compactly and better than expected. Each acted like a separate suitcase at our destination, more convenient to open and move around than luggage. The zippers and internal straps worked adequately. The thin material added no extra bulk or weight to our carry-ons. Most importantly, the bags held enough clothes that had been rolled or flattened. The extra bags we did not use would offer versatility for longer trips. I recommend the 8-piece set for value and flexibility.
