I used the lights for my TV stand and it’s the best with all the flashing lights. I purchased a long one so I was able to do it a couple of times. Very to operate and I will buy it again.

amazing brightnes, does feel quite cheap but that should be expected when buying it cheap. The app doesn't work where I live (the UK) that is the only downside with the product, but everything else works how it says on the description :))) when buying the 40m you get three sets of strips which on of the strips were more than enough to cover my whole room.

The media could not be loaded. EDIT:My original review was damning, see below, however the company contacted me and offered either a refund or replacement - I chose replacement. As you can see in the video the new lights work! It seems the fault was with the power supply, not the actual lights. That the Company contacted me, rather than me contacting them is impressive! Thank you!Lights do not work. At all. Total waste of money.

These didn't come as one strip as they have in the past but in two but still worked OK. Ideal for what they were wanted for. Colours good easy to use remote.

Best to buy from a store
Took forever to arrive and than had to use duct tape to reinforce them to stick. The adapter did not work either. Not pleased. Thankfully we had an adapter compatible with it. The lights were great, but than the remote stopped working within days. We replaced the batteries and saw a tiny piece inside the battery compartment had fallen off. No way to fix it. To many problems.
Controller failed on both sets I ordered within 1 - 5 weeks, useless
PROs:- The LED strips themselves are great, and stick very well. I ordered 2 sets of these and used 3 reels of the lights, and they all stuck great.- LED color is very good and can be adjusted to a very wide range of colors.CONs:- The 32’ set is actually two separate 16’ reels. This was not stated in the description. I ended up only using one transformer and controller, however, and 3 very short runs of lights (total of 30 feet), so it actually worked in my favor since I didn’t need to splice new ends on where I cut the strips.- But the controller box that controls colors and receives the remote commands is junk. I ordered two sets of these and used the first controller, which first failed by only putting out different shades of blue Then the remote sensor quit working. Ok, I ordered 2 sets but connected all the LED strips to one controller, so I swapped out the controller and everything worked again. The second controller only lasted a single week!- The connectors to the LED light strips are very loose. It seems that all of this style of lights have the same type of connector however, so this issue is likely with all of the brands of these. I had to tape the connections together so they wouldn’t fall out after a couple of weeks.- the power cable is very loose where it goes into the controller box. Had to tape that on as well. All the electrical tape all over everything makes my installation looked literally duct-taped together and like I don’t have a clue but it’s not my fault.- The remote sensor cable is only about 4” long, which is extremely limiting in terms of where you can place it. I am using these in a home theater display and had to get very creative in hoe to mount the box and have it hidden, but the sensor still able to be seen by the remote control. It needs a plug-in connector so an extension cable can be used.I ordered a separate replacement controller of the same type for $12 but if that fails will buy the Mi.Light controller (more money but you get what you pay for, I guess, plus would need to re-rewire my setup a bit). If I had it to do over I would buy the lights separate and the Mi.Light controller, which also has an app for control through your phone.UPDATE: the replacement controllers failed as well. I have now gone through like 5 of them. I replaced them all with the Mi.Boxer ones and those have been rock solid for almost a year now, and can be controlled by an app for color selection. (That is using the same power supplies that came with this original set, so it is specifically the controller that is failing every time.)
Controller options are limited compared to other brands
Setting custom colors and brightness is limited compared to other brands of LED strips I have used, very coarse grain between each setting, also no music/sound sync option is disappointing given the cost. LED density is nice but its not even really and advertised feature. Its not a bad LED strip especially for being all weather, but its missing features I thought would have been standard.
THEY AREN’T TOO BAD
The media could not be loaded. So for starters these lights add an amazing touch to a boring room. They have billions of different settings. However, the only problem I had with them is that for the price, they didn’t stick too well. For $32, I should have absolutely no problems for some lights.But the only place it has trouble sticking is the brick wall. Everywhere else is fine. But like I’ve said, they were expensive so they shouldn’t have any problems. Also, a bonus is that the lights change colors with different remotes. I was watching tv one day and turned it and realized that as I changed the channel, the lights changed as well. So thats a major plus if you lose or break your actual remote that they come with. I would say all in all, I’m satisfied because to keep it to stick, I used duck tape. But every so often, I have to change the pieces because duck tape only lasts so long.

These lights do as they are meant to do - light up any area with the colors provided - exceptionally well. Where it lacks is in the adhesive backing. The adhesive does not do as it is meant to do. On a newly cleaned wall, these lights couldn't stay up for longer than 30 minutes without some support other than the adhesion that's supposed to be all that's necessary. I can deal with the DIY buttons malfunctioning and even with the lack of response to my question about using two sets of lights with the provided adapter (don't do it, I think), but when you're tired and just want to relax under your lights, or really want what you're lighting to shine, pun intended, it can be quite annoying to constantly have to put some or all of the lights back up because the included adhesive is not enough.Thank you for coming to my TED Talk.
