I got this in the Prime sale as a bargain. Works great with it’s main benefit being to remove the need for the main speaker to create bass meaning a much cleaner sound all round. Very happy but the “new” app remains garbage.

I have the main bass unit from Sonos for my tv and dvd set up. I wanted a separate system for my cd and radio set up - something I could switch on and off quickly without having to go into the app. So I have two Play 1’s and this mini bass. It’s perfect! It’s a medium sized room and fills the space with bass effortlessly. Setting up was a breeze although it’s the first time I’d tapped the top with my phone as part of the registration process, using the same near-field technology that our credit cards use when tapping terminals with the phone. I didn’t quite believe it had worked as a second or two delay occurred (I have a v old iphone).Since buying the Sonos Boost, all of my Sonos products have linked together and appeared in the Sonos app seemlessly so I mention this to anyone still struggling. The Boost sets up a separate wi-fi circuit for the exclusive use of Sonos stuff and it too works perfectly.Back to the Bass - this is one of the few Sonos products I’d describe as value for money as well as being of the same quality as everything else. You don’t buy Sonos for bargains, but it’s worth mentioning as this unit give the Play 1’s real body and is worth every penny.

Sounds great in my surround set up. Very easy to set up, versatile settings allow changes to suit different uses. Can be a bit over basey when linked only to a sound bar, monitoring the TV. Much better using full 4 speaker music system. Great buy at only £339 after discount. Check the size before buying as it does occupy quite some floor space, and was unsuitable for some corners of my lounge.

The media could not be loaded. For about 6 months i had the sonos beam 2 paired with two sonos one SL speakers.the surround sound was amazing and the bass form the beam was just enough that i was happy and didnt need an upgrade but i always felt it was missing abit of UMMFF.The SUB Mini changed that! movies, shows and music feel like they have another layer to them now.theres no buzzing or humming sound from the sub and despite it being alot smaller and more compact compared to others I've seen on the market, it outputs alot of bass that can fill a medium to large room.Best of all, its minimilistic design blends into most living rooms and once connected, its very easy to forget its there.I was really worried that the bass from this sub would be overpowering as some of the reviews on here had hinted but found that it is 100 adjustible through the sonos app. i opted to keeping it at the default level of 0 when browsign the internet and watching youtube videos but turning it up to +6 when watching movies/ listening to music to really feel the thuds and growls on the screen.settings up the device is very simple and if you have already setup a sonos device in the past, its the exact same process. I had mine up and running within 5minutes.Overall, the Sub adds a whole other layer of emersiveness and setting everything up is very simple.

I have had a sub gen 2 for years so this was bought for the loft conversion. I could not believe my ears! It sounded really crisp and punchy……even rattled the floor. If you push hard enough,….I mean really hard, it starts to compress the bass but you would want the full fat sub for that sort of thing.I am super pleased with the usability of the sub in such a less demanding environment as a big bedroom. Very clean bass indeed.

Good quality bass from Sonos. Sonos has to be my favourite audio company. Their products are very sleek, classy and good quality. Set up is mostly easy and the price you pay definitely shows

I have the Sonos Beam (Gen 2) and the Sonos Ones used as surround sound speakers. This setup has been great for improving the sound quality and immersion in games, TV and film.Since purchasing the mini sub, I find the impact of the sub to be subtle but powerful. At first I was worried that it wasn't really making much of a difference but then, over time, I started noticing the low, purposeful thud of the footsteps from characters hunting me in console games; the power of the crowds chanting at a football game on TV, pounding to my very core, and the thumping bass on a 'right-good' 90s dance tune playing on Apple Music.In short: I can't believe I ever doubted the purchase. It's the perfect accompaniment to my home cinema system and god help anyone who buys the larger version of this. I can only guess at its power! Highly recommended.
Disappointed
Tried to integrate with my pair of Era 100, cannot get solid sound, especially for bluetooth connection.Bass is not even across the frequency range, some higher bass is loud, a bit lower frequencies are quiet.I think it’s design problem but it could be compensated by sound processing, however, I can’t expect this from Sonos nowadays, good software is not about Sonos anymore. Their new mobile application is total fail and it’s still not recovered!Instead of buying this subwoofer I’d suggest to get rid of Sonos completely.
Defective product
Was excited to take delivery of this product but was defective and would not connect at all. If you are familiar with Sonos system then you will know how much effort it takes to reset them if you change WiFi settings. In the case of this particular product it would not connect to the network at all. After speaking to Sonos customer support online and going through the troubleshooting steps the product was confirmed defective. Very disappointing as the Sonos system to connect is not user friendly. Bolo will not issue a replacement but a refund with shipping that I have to arrange. All in all a bad experience for a product that I was very excited about.
Doesn't connect or not getting factory reset also
Bought it from Bolo warehouse. It's a faulty piece. It doesn't get connected to mobile app. Not getting factory reset also
