5.0 out of 5 stars Very sturdy
Easy to assemble and even comes with an Allen key and spanner. Very tough hard-wearing tines, slightly more expensive than the traditional wooden handle rake but well worth it.
5.0 out of 5 stars Quality Bow Rake
Just what I needed for straggly weeds in the soil bed - never heard of a bow rake before but this was excellent for raking up weeds and ivy in hard to reach places . Looks well made and sturdy . Arrived quickly too .
4.0 out of 5 stars Handle Problems
Nice rake, extremely long handle. The only niggle though is with the handle, as it is made up of multiple parts you get the flexibility of being able to reduce the length of the handle. But it is also this flexibility that also proved to be a problem, no matter how hard you screw the parts of the handle together they do work loose in use. Nothing major, but something to be aware of.
5.0 out of 5 stars Up to the job!
Bought this for levelling ground in crawl space under the house where there is earth, stones and all manner of bits and pieces. It has proved very effective and strong enough for the task.Very happy with this purchase and would buy again.
5.0 out of 5 stars Looks good
Wait to put it to the test of gardening work.
5.0 out of 5 stars A rake to last
This rake is easy to assemble and the wide head is a bonus as it makes a very quick job of clearing the garden. I'm a 5ft woman so it's taller than me but I find it great to use. Highly recommend it
5.0 out of 5 stars It's a rake. Why ask if it's easy to use?
We needed a solid rake to prepare fresh ground for a lawn. This looked good, cheap(ish), and well reviewed. It arrived in a pretty small, fairly light box - slightly worrying - but after putting it together it is solid, robust and a really useful tool. The tines, (get me, remembering the right word), are strong, and if you turn the head over there are sort of short, blunt tines, a bit like blunt spoons, to break up lumps. All in all, excellent.
3.0 out of 5 stars Rake
Good size rake , handy that the handle can be unscrewed for storage but after awhile of use the handle pulls loose so you have to retighten it, needs a better thread
Who dares Challenge Walensee?
The dawn light crept over the horizon, casting long shadows across the wild expanse of my yard. Clutching the Walensee Bow Rake, I embarked on a mission to tame the untamed. The lawn, a tangled mess of weeds, stood before me. With a firm grip and a determined heart, I attacked. The rake's tines plunged into the earth, yanking out stubborn intruders with each powerful stroke. The ground yielded to the rake's command, transforming a battlefield of weeds into a sea of green.Moving to the flower bed, I faced a different beast: unruly mulch smothering the delicate blossoms. The rake danced across the bed, spreading mulch with meticulous care. Each sweep revealed hidden flowers, now free to bask in the sunlight. The Walensee Bow Rake turned what seemed like an overwhelming task into an effortless ballet, its balance and sharpness unmatched. As the sun ascended, its heat grew relentless. Suddenly, a rogue sunbeam pierced through the protective canopy, threatening to scorch everything in its path. The rake, now a weapon in my hands, intercepted the blazing ray. With a deft swing, the tines caught the light, scattering it harmlessly. The sunbeam recoiled, its fiery advance halted. Then came the breeze, sly and cunning, slicing through the shade with razor-sharp gusts. The rake became my shield, each pass through the air creating barriers against the wind. The shade remained unbroken, my refuge intact, as the rake carved through the air with precision. Each maneuver kept the cool haven safe from the assault.By afternoon, the yard was a transformed landscape. The lawn, once choked with weeds, was a lush green sanctuary. The flower bed, previously buried in mulch, now displayed a vibrant array of blooms. The defeated sunbeam and the retreating breeze left my shaded oasis undisturbed. The Walensee Bow Rake had proven its worth, an essential tool in the conquest of the garden. For anyone tackling the arduous tasks of lawn care and garden upkeep, the Walensee Bow Rake is the ultimate companion. It turns the ordinary into an extraordinary adventure, each challenge met with unyielding strength and finesse. This rake is not just a tool; it’s a garden warrior, ready to face any adversary.
Effective
I am very happy with this rake and recommend it. I bought it for clearing thick gravel (including some grapefruit size rocks) from an off-road atv trail (so I can snowboard down it in the winter! :)). I cleared 400m of trail so far and found it highly effective, I was raking the rocks into a pile and scooping/shoveling them away, and it was solid throughout. I did a second pass of the trail using the flatter backside of the tool and the road looks beautiful, even some hikers came across it and commented. About a third of the black paint has fallen off the rake itself, but that's to be expected. The handles twist into place and are solid, no wiggle or coming loose. For my purposes the handle assembly is a bonus as I can quickly disassemble it to my backpack for easy transport. I expect to get a lot more use out of this rake, I was pretty rough with it and it's going strong, I will update if needed.
Walensee Gartenrechen
Total risikofrei ist leider kaum was.
重いけど、長さ調整できるし頑丈!
石が挟まっても頑丈!根っこにも負けない!道具は大事です。土をならすのにはむかないかなぁ。きれいにならすなら違うやつのほうがいいかも。草を集めるのはめちゃ楽!
Exactly what I needed
Quite perfect. The handle is long and light. The rake is very sturdy. I am using it to clear a trail. When I am done I can unscrew the nice handle and store it...
