Over the course of a couple of long evenings myself and my husband studied the very detailed pack with multiple cryptic clues, each eliminating one suspect at a time. It was a slow process, but I see that as a good thing, the level of detail in the pack was amazing, using several reports, articles, social media content and even logging into a detectives email account. Very addictive, will be purchasing another pack for sure.

Great way to while away a couple of hours when you can’t be bothered with traditional board games. We played it in a noisy pub and had no trouble following the clues. It’s hard enough to be challenging but the clues are all there so you don’t feel like it’s impossible. Good fun and good value for money.

Having done a few of these now we know to look for motives and alibis and try to stay focussed. The clues are there and the pack is expansive and keeps you interested. Would highly recommend.

A detailed case file is provided along with interesting online elements. It is great value for money and took roughly 2 hours so it was good entertainment too! Easy to guide yourselves through and it looked realistic too!

Cryptic Killers do amazing murder mysteries. We tried another company and it paled in comparison. We had an amazing night, love that there's enough information when you buy to theme your night a bit. Took a group of 3 of us about 2 hours to solve. A great way to spend a night

Your goal? Find out who killed the once-beloved-and-now-shunned magician Charlie Young. This easy-to-read case puts you in the shoes of Detective Ayers, on the case to find Charlie's murderer. There are plenty of twists and turns with the 26 pieces of evidence you have to sort through to determine alibis and ali-lies.Another major hit for me as a crime-loving solo player. Cannot wait to do the next one. These guys are killing it!
Incredibly fun!
Solved this case in about 2.5 hours with my 14 year old daughter. Was super impressed at how fun it was. We cheered when we cracked into the detectives email. We have one more to do and certainly will be buying more.
Keeps you on your toes
We love playing these games. Love the company and quality of the games. This one was a fun game, not too hard but kept us guessing on who, what, when and where!!!! Good job!
Great mystery game
This was a fun and well put together case file murder mystery game! My husband and I enjoyed it.
Fun mystery with plenty of twists and turns
I played this with my wife on our anniversary, we had a blast solving the mystery and working through the evidence to find the killer. It was moderately challenging, easy to use, and a great way to spend the afternoon. Highly recommend, will definitely buy another of their mysteries in the future
