An sich ein gutes Produkt
Alles in allem bin ich mit der Stanzmaschine zufrieden.Ich habe sie mir gekauft, um Karten damit zu basteln, das klappt gut und macht mir sehr viel Spaß.Allerdings finde ich es schade, dass die Höhe nur durch die verschiedenen Scheiben reguliert werden kann.Bei dem Set waren sie zum Glück dabei, aber die einzeln zu kaufen finde ich nicht nur teuer, sondern auch unpraktisch.Vor allem, wenn man mit unterschiedlich dickem Papier arbeitet und jedes Mal schauen muss, ob die Dicke passt.Wenn man etwas dickeres Papier verwendet und es eben nicht so gut passt muss man teilweise sehr viel Druck aufwenden, um das dadurch zu drehen, dabei ist mir die Schraube am Griff kaputt gegangen, weshalb ich nur noch in eine Richtung drehen kann.Das beeinträchtig die Funktion an sich aber nicht, weshalb ich damit trotzdem zufrieden bin.
Still the best Die Cutter on the market
I have so many die cutting machines but this is my favourite, even over the electric ones....altho the Go Power and Emboss is a very close second.I love the new Universal Plate system too, it's resolved all the issues I had over embossing folders.
amazing die/embossing machine
after 18 years of heavy use my Cuttlebugs gears finally broke.( Made 70 cards in last month & a half) Including Cards for Kindness. received the Spellbinder Platinum machine yesterday. ... amazing,... cuts dies perfectly.., great to have sandwich instructions on the platform & platform B top. I did notice that both the cutting plates (C) when using dies cuts into the plates pretty deeply. It is heavy but works great. Would recommend this machine to others
Had to replace 2 things in a months time
I had only had mine for about a month before the handle kept falling off and was squeaking. I called Spellbinders direct. I had to call them a second time to get some "customer support". Apparently the "Screw is too small" so I had to take pictures and show proof of purchase to get a new handle. I did get a replacement. The screw is the exact same size. It doesn't squeak-so far. We will see how long it lasts.The C plates only lasted a couple of weeks. I am not using it constantly every single day. The girl (who was snotty) told me that they would bow on the first try and might need replaced THEN. I told her she was nuts. The C plates should last longer than a couple of weeks if you use them with care. They stopped working so I ordered 2 Magic Mats. They are wonderful!!!!! I have a little buyer's remorse. It isn't a cheap purchase. Do yourself a favor and order 2 Magic Mats! And it moves all over the place! I've tried 2 different surfaces. The machine is not worth $15000. I should of looked around more before I pulled the trigger.
