Take off the protective film
Stick the strip on the gap and finish
Notes:
During transportation, the tape may foam, but it will not affect the normal installation and use, and will not affect the stickiness of the tape, so you can buy it with confidence.

This is a really good length and feels like good quality material, and it was relatively easy to cut to size and shape with a heavy duty pair of scissors.Apperance of the product was slightly different to the pictures with regards to colour, which is a bit annoying as the pictures looked exactly the same as my laminate floor, so doesn't quite match.It only has the sticky strip on one side of the product, and while it does stick well it would have been nice to have it on both sides.The value is great, I couldn't find anything else that was this size, and I felt this was a really good price.It's been down a few months, with the kids running over it in their trainers or playing with their toys and stuff on it, and is holding up really well - no marks or anything - so performance wise it is very good!

These threshold strips are so easy to apply and cut compared to the old fashioned expensive strips which were often metal and needed to be screwed down. A bathroom fitter recommended them to me and suggested using dabs of silicone to ensure they were firmly stuck. Great product and a chimp could install them.

I needed a solution to go from a laminate flooring to vinyl flooring & this seemed to tick the boxes.I was concerned it came coiled up & wouldn’t lie flat but I stretched it out and left it a while to settle measured & cut it to lengthThis is where the major problem is the self adhesive tape is terribleDespite making sure the floor was clean & weighting it down it just won’t stick.Definitely a waste of money

I got this to replace a metal edge that had split over time. When I removed it I didn't realize it was screwed in about an inch from the carpet edge. After cleaning up broken cement there was a gap of about 5mm between the kitchen vinyl and the dining room carpet.I was unsure if this would handle it, not the gap but the adhesion, as it wouldn't leave much room for contact.I cut the strip with a pair of very sharp scissors, 1 cut was all it took. Peeling the initial part of the tape off was tricky, I found it easiest to bend the rubber and get a finger nail under the ridge that causes.Applying the edge was a doddle. Just peel a bit at a time, press down and repeat.It sticks very well (remember to clean the area so it's not sticking to dust), and is a smart and easy solution to replacing an old edge.

had a flat version from Temu but needed the step for different floor levels . Very similar in colour and feel to what I had before . The strip I had from Temu nearly 2 years ago has stayed down since the day I got it , And in a high traffic area. This wouldn't even stick to a hair ,the double sided tape is crap so will buy a quality tape . Once I picked the corner of the tape it even peeled straight off the vinyl absolutely rubbish. So if this strip is what ya want I suggest buying some tape to go with it.Or get it somewhere else.
