    These seem to be a great product but early days as I only fit them last week. I believe they advertise that you can bend them anywhere but found you straight gale to bend them 90degs so had to create a curve rather than a straight corner. For the project I did this did not impact really.Very good effect. It was for a feature wall and ceiling in a bedroom and the customer loved it.Would buy again

    The colour and brightness of the lights is great. They were easy to stick on and set up. I had an issue with the plug overheating resulting in morse code-like flickering, but reducing the brightness by 20-40% stopped that, and they are still plenty bright enough. Would probably buy again because the price is way lower than other options.

    My task was to replace old incandescent tube mood lighting behind living room cabinets that were installed 20 odd years' ago. At the time these were the best solution.Today, however, with the advent of LEDs there's a simpler solution. Namely COB ( chip-on-board) LED Strip lights. Apparently it's a more recent development that gives us a greater density of LEDs and thus a more uniform light.The small box ( pictured) comes with the 3metres of LED strip, a UK 3pin plug/DC24v adaptor ( in one piece), a small RF remote, a controller and a manual ( in the pic you can see it's headed: Usear Manuel 😃 - perhaps they wrote it!) .There's a good metre of cable ( I think the site says 1.24cm ) to attach the plug lead to the small LED controller ( about 16cm long). The LED strip connects into the controller and the plug lead into that. In my case there was ample distance from the LED strip ( now stuck in place to the wall) and the wall socket. You may have to buy a suitable extension lead should your electric socket be further away.It's a simple job to remove the 3m sticky tape and affix the strip to the wall.My cabinets didn't require the full 3metre length and it's an easy job to cut to size with scissors at the copper coloured metal connector.It was just a case of plug in and switch on. Easy.The remote switches the lights on/off and remembers your last brightness level. You can manually change the brightness from very bright right down to very dim .Alternatively there are preset buttons from 100%, 80%, 60%, 40%, 20% & 10%.Very simple to use.I'm delighted with the product as I was thinking of having to remove the heavy & bulky cabinets and getting in a sparky to change the original fittings . That would've been a huge and expensive job.These are essentially posh Christmas tree lights I suppose but do what they say on the tin.

    They look great and work well using a Alexa plug, so we ask Alexa to turn on kitchen lights.As you can appreciate only had them 2 weeks so can not tell how long they will last !!

    TTWAY COB LED Strip Lights 2700K, Dimmable LED Strip Kit, Super Bright 24V LED Tape LightBought to backlight semi-transparent images in a deep(ish) frame.The main attraction here was the consistency of the light across the surface. While there still seem to be individual LEDs, the light is really well dispersed so you don't notice the individual points of light.The light is quite a warm white, and at full intensity it is more than enough for my purpose (which is to backlight the transparencies at night).The other significant benefit is the small and lightweight remote control which can change the intensity according to presets (20% 40% etc.), and has timer functionality as well.The strip comes with 3M backing tape to allow it to be mounted on suitable surfaces.The manual says it can be cut to length, but I had no reason to do this, so I don't know if that process is straightforward.I was a little concerned about the potential for heat build-up within the frame, but that has not been an issue to date.
