This delivers a lot for the price. The build quality is good, given the small size and inherent fragility of a Lightning- connected snd located receiver.I have previous broken this sort of mic, so that's important.This works with my DJI iphone stabiliser and a plus size iphone -- the receiver need to be slim to give the stabliser freedom of movement.Sound quality is very good. The only problem has been wind noise without a wind sock, hardly a fault. It will need a little work to adapt a fluffy windshield to stay in place, b ut not impossible.Lastly, with two mics and one receiver, this works very well for two-person podcasting.I own another Boya mic which was inexpensive but outperforms a much more expensive one of leading make.Strongly recommended.

i was advised to get RODA which are 10 time the price so i thought i will start with something basic and work my way up.....and i have not …worked my way up because i don't think i need to ! the battery life is excellent and sound is reasonable, just download the app for setting and your good to go.

Sound is good.Just I gave 4* because when it connected to phone, if I like to review the record I made, there is no sound. I have to disconnect it first to sound the video I shot.

I use this for creating videos on my mobile. I am so happy with the quality. Putting it into noise suppresion mode was very simple, not sure who (or how) some buyers got confused as to how to do it! This device is so easy and simple to use and I just wished I bought it last year when I started to make videos.

From the beginning these have not worked properly. Firstly, one or two refused to pair with the receiver. Then all refused to pair with the receiver. After contacting the seller I was able to get them to pair. But six months later they no longer pick up the sound. So now they pair with each other (except for one) but do not convey any sound into the phone or camera. They have become useless after six months. And I have not been able to contact the seller regarding a replacement or repair. It has become a waste of money and time.

Totally recommend. I use them for videos of my learners who have just passed their test. They work exactly as described and despite the wind cover being small, they work very effectively indeed. Totally recommend.I have the lightening and the USB3 receivers and I recommend either/both depending on your requirements.

Not compatible with iPhone 14 pro
Very poor support. They did not listen to my video I sent. They only respond once a day at best after asking me toPerform different tests. I’ve used boya for many years because of the quality however I can noLonger support or recommend. I needed a working mic and the 2 weeks of daily response did not help.

Great for my video production business
For my video production company I have been starting to produce videos that incorporate numerous interviews typically one after another. Previously, I only had one microphone to use which was not very convenient as I would have to unhook it and re-hook it on to every participant that was being interviewed. Now that I have this system it has changed the way I prepare my interviewees. Having the five pack of microphones allows me to set up up to five participants at a time. The sound quality of the microphone is exceptional, delivering very clear audio which is merged with the video footage. The battery life is not bad but I would recommend charging the microphone before every use. I strongly recommend this five pack of microphones for anyone that has similar work that I do
