    The Koko DNA Test was an amazing experience for me. It provided me with accurate and detailed information in an easy to digest format. The test offers an incredibly detailed report on the breed, health, and traits of your pup. It was so easy to use and the results were given to me in a timely manner.The best part about the Koko DNA Test is that it tests for over 150 breeds, giving an incredibly accurate result. All I had to do was take a small sample of my pup’s saliva and send it in. From there, the lab did its job and soon enough I had detailed information about my pup.The report was incredibly helpful and gave me a better understanding of my pup’s breed, which was especially helpful for me as a first-time dog owner. I also was provided with detailed information about my pup’s health which was incredibly useful and reassuring.

    I got this as I have always been eager to find out what my dog is.Very easy to do the swab and send offGet the results and they are so interesting!Not only do they tell you the breed mix, but the parentage, any relatives (if they have been tested through embark) any potential health issues, as well as detailing any traits with specific genetic markers.I specifically didn't add any photos to the profile so there was no cheating, but it's all spot on.They even said he has white and tan fur with black tips, and heavy shedding.Very clever.

    This is amazing. Easy to do a swab of dogs mouth and the results don't take too long. Tells you percentage of breeds and also health traits etc Really interesting.

    Qualche mese fa ho adottato una cucciola che cresce a vista d’occhio, quello che mi è stato detto è che la mamma è un bulldog francese (anche se non ci credevo molto dato la grandezza della cagnolina) ma del padre non si sa nulla…. Così ho deciso di fare il test genetico e incredibilmente dopo nemmeno un mese sono arrivati i risultati! Non solo del mix di razze della cucciola ma anche sulla salute e malattie varie che potrebbe avere …. Ho avuto la conferma che la mamma è una bulldog francese e il padre è un meticcio tra un boxer e pastore tedesco! 🙂 ecco perché la cagnolina cresce così tanto!Se volete togliervi ogni dubbio o solo per una curiosità come la mia ve lo straconsiglio! Precisi e affidabili per questo ho dato 5 🌟!

In der Anfangsphase meiner Erfahrung hatte ich Bedenken, die ich geäußert habe. Das Team von Koko Genetics hat nicht nur meine Bedenken ernst genommen, sondern mir auch großzügig eine komplette Rückerstattung angeboten, um meine Unzufriedenheit zu adressieren.Was den Prozess der DNA-Probenentnahme betrifft, so erfolgte dies durch eine Speichelprobe, was zumindest bei meinem Hund recht einfach war. Darüber hinaus erhielt ich drei Kits zur Entnahme von Speichelproben, was sich als äußerst praktisch erwiesen hat. Die Analyse bietet nicht nur Einblicke in die genetischen Ursprünge physischer Merkmale meines Hundes, sondern untersucht auch verschiedene genetisch bedingte Krankheiten und Anfälligkeiten.Besonders interessant und hilfreich sind die Ergebnisse bezüglich der Hunderassen, obwohl es sich mehr um eine Annäherung an Hundetypen handelt als um spezifische Hunderassen (bei denen meiner Meinung nach kein DNA-Test bisher exakte Treffer erzielt hat). Demnach ergab sich, dass mein Hund eine Mischung aus Chihuahua, Terrier (möglicherweise Rattenfänger-Terrier), Xolozcuintle (dieser wird in den Ergebnissen als Chinese Crested und Pharao-Hund angegeben) und verschiedenen Spitz-Typen ist, darunter der italienische Volpino und der Amerikanische Eskimo Hund – beide passen meiner Meinung nach sehr gut.Insgesamt kann ich diesen Test wärmstens empfehlen.

    Mi perro Simba es adoptado, tiene casi 10 años, y siempre nos ha dado mucha curiosidad conocer más detalles de su herencia genética y rasgos. Nos hemos pasado la vida diciendo que es una mezcla de podenco, ¡y resulta que ni por asomo! También da mucha tranquilidad comprobar que es negativo para todos los genes analizados excepto para uno, que no le afecta para nada porque solo es portador (y no va a ser papá porque está castrado).Creo que es un producto especialmente interesante en perros jóvenes para estar más atentos a su salud o poder estimar su tamaño, "perronalidad" y rasgos físicos de adulto. Creo que la versión advanced merece la pena frente a la starter, que no incluye el análisis de salud. Y si tienes conocimientos sobre medicina en general o genética en particular, lo vas a disfrutar el doble. La función para localizar parientes es muy interesante, aunque creo que es difícil encontrar a alguno ahora mismo que el servicio no es tan popular en nuestro país. ¡Que no se te olvide activarla en la pestaña pertinente por si acaso!La cajita trae 3 hisopos y un botecito para extraer y conservar la saliva de tu perro. El proceso es sencillo y está claramente explicado en la web. Mi perro se ha dejado meter los bastoncillos en la boca sin mucho problema, aunque mejor probar primero la técnica con otra cosa para no llevarnos sustos. Luego se registra en la web y se lleva la misma cajita a un punto de recogida sin más costes. Sabrás por correo electrónico cuándo les ha llegado el envío y aproximadamente la fecha en que se publicarán los resultados. A mí me han tardado menos de 1 mes, aunque pueden tardar hasta 6 semanas según la web y vienen muy detallados. Todas las razas, rasgos y genes incluyen una explicación extensa y fácil de entender de lo que significa (y con fotos en el caso de las razas). Solo echo en falta una versión en pdf para descargar fácilmente y poder guardarla más fácilmente.
