Well - I purchased this having read mixed reviews, arrived and I followed directions to open and let it relax out, then I put on my bed - the mattress is a standard double,and I purchased a double sized topper to fit.Yes once opened, it's not even a cm wide but, it's been vacume packed so...course it's flat as a pancake... Box held the manufacturing scent, very very little on the topper itself thankfully - after 10 hours it had reached it's full relaxation point, it was well into 3+cm depth, following day I made up the bed and popped in at bedtime - immediately felt the difference - the comfort levels had greatly improved - I'm very happy with this outcome as I'm not in a position to buy a new mattress just right now, and this has been a very positive buy, very comfortable definitely feel less pressure on joints, its early days but I'll definitely purchase more for other beds in the house similarly - I highly recommend if like me you realize it's not a new mattress, what it is doing is bringing up the comfort of your current mattress - gosh if this was on a new mattress, it would be complete heaven to sleep in!

Great buy. It‘s easy to fit and as it has no straps as most other covers, it stays in place, very soft and I sleep very well. It‘s like an extra fitted sheet, no more putting into place as it stays and fits perfectly. I gave it the recommended days after unpacking.. I love the oeko friendly material as well. No smell, no nasties. Would reccomend and buy again

Delivered next day in a secure box after opening and left to expand for 48 hours finally fitted to my bed with ease looks part of the bed and is pretty thick considering the size of the packaging it came in.Probably one of the best and most comfortable sleep I’ve had in a while would highly recommend great value for money

Has a lovely soft feel but definitely not 3cm thick more like 2cm. I bought it for my daughter as she has fibromyalgia to help her aches and pains but just not thick enough.

Bought for student to make the pretty naff mattresses in student accommodation more comfortable. My son says that it's worked well on that front. The padding is not deep, but provides a decent amount of cushioning for someone who hasn't got particular aches and pains, and just wants to make a cheap mattress comfy.An extra good point is it seems to stay in place with someone who moves a lot in their sleep.Can't say as to whether it's "cooling" properties are evident.For the money it's been a good buy.

Not too thick and a very comfortable sleep experience
Our existing pillow top mattress had become too hard to sleep on without tossing and turning all night. When we first evaluated the new topper we thought it might be just too thin to soften the load on our mattress. But we gave it a try and it worked really well. It softens the load and spreads out the pressure points so that we can now both sleep without needing to turn over every hour. With it being only about 2" thick (once it is allowed to expand from packing), it does not affect the current bedding. It also does not make us hot from trapping body heat. Overall, it's a really good mattress topper. Great value.
