5.0 out of 5 stars Great coffee scales at a great size.
I bought the "pro" version. Build quality is great. The scales fit easily between the feet of the Flair 58. All modes work exactly as expected, and I find the espresso mode with auto-tare and auto-timer works flawlessly. Scales seem accurate and sensitive to 0.1g which allows for single bean accuracy. I like the rubber mat which provides adequate protection for the occasional drip.
5.0 out of 5 stars Look no further
I've been scouring the Internet for ages after I had to rerurn my old one as it stopped working after 8 weeks as it was a cheap one. There are loads in the £10-£20 range but they are all the same (rubbish). All I wanted was one that looked good and was relatively accurate with little lag, and this one fits the bill and for a reasonable price (i couldn't justify £50 for a timemore black mirror scale). There is a manual and espresso mode but the espresso mode isn't useful as it starts timing from the moment the coffee hits the scales and it's generally accepted that a shot is timed from when you start the machine. However the manual setting does all I need; it's slim and small enough to fit on the drip tray under the portafilter with clearanceto spare. The displays are clear and it's rechargeable with a type c port. Stop looking and buy this one and you won't be dissapointed.
4.0 out of 5 stars Decent
This little scale is quite something, its a little pricey for starters.I use mine mostly in manual but the espresso function apparently picks up the first drip and then times from then on. I haven't used it this way as i place the timer the moment i flip the lever on. However i found that when trying to accurately dose the beans i often have to throw the last ones in there with some force to make it jump as it doesn't pick up the slight difference in weight,so I'm not sure how well it would pick up the first espresso drip. The silicone mat is a nice touch, some reviewers say it looks cheap but i find it alright.Although it is pricey i really cant see the point in splashing out hundreds for a scale, this does the job and I'm happy with it. Sure it could be better but its the best for the money.
5.0 out of 5 stars Thin scale. Very clean looking.
I believe this is the thinnest on the market at the price. Works fine, very small and sleek looking.
1.0 out of 5 stars Charging Issue
The second time I've tried to charge this it's stopped working. I've been careful to avoid any water contact to the port (unusual design to have something kitchen based exposed) but sadly I've only been able to charge this once and now it no longer works. Wish I'd gone with something battery based now.
5.0 out of 5 stars Good scales, easy to use and easy to read
Got these to replace my old scales which were fine but slow to react. These are much quicker to react and easy to read.I don't use the auto timer functionality for espresso, but have used it for pour over and it works great.
3.0 out of 5 stars Built in obsolescence!
These scales are feature rich, appear to be well made, have a clear readout and the settings are easy to navigate. They have performed perfectly until two months after the guarantee expired, and then they died.
5.0 out of 5 stars Really good compact coffee scales
Puzzled by some of the lower scoring reviews, I love these scales and felt compelled to give 5 stars considering how affordable it is compared to some other options. Not had any issues with it at all and I've only had to charge once in the last 6 weeks. Fits very nicely on my Sage Bambino espresso machine
Excelente compra

perfect platform for pour over coffee at home
I've had the scale for about a month now and I'm loving it. It's accurate, it's compact. I am not using the auto-timer function ...because I really have no need for that. It weighs, tares and times exactly the way I want it to for aeropressing, Chemex or Hario pour over coffee. The silicone mat protects the surface and more importantly protects the charge port from getting wet in case I spill. It's thin enough to use with my Expobar Brewtus IV espresso machine as long as I use my naked porta-filter ...which is all I've been using for a decade now. The display is nice and bright and the response time is adequate for my use.I charged it for several hours when it arrived and after a month of use, it's still on its initial charge. Note that it will not charge unless the on/off switch is set to "on". That's not the way anything else I have ever owned works, but for some reason they designed it this way. It's not an issue, the physical power switch is just set to "on" 24/7 ...the unit will come alive with a 2 second touch on the right spot on the touch interface. There is a little delay with each touch and I'm guessing that's so it does not respond to inadvertent touches.I recommend this inexpensive alternative to the other much higher priced scales out there. It looks great and functions perfectly.
Great little scale!
The media could not be loaded. I don't do Bolo reviews but I have to come here just to write about this great little scale. First of all it is surprisingly heavy and robust feeling for its size. Second it fits very well underneath my espresso machine and third the features work great. Easy to clean. This one is one of the better units I have tried from Bolo. Highly recommend it. I think it will be useful for people making espresso and even pour over.
Great espresso scale
I went for the Pro model. Great bang for your buck. Premium materials and the espresso mode is absolutely great. I use this under my cafelat robot, it fits without the included protective pad.
Perfect!
The best of all, it ticks all the right boxes!
