Keep a finger down, and X-T5 will record images at up to 15fps with the mechanical shutter, or 20fps with the electronic shutter. Either way, no important moment will be missed. Of course, when the decisive moment hits, you'll have our legendary color science and hugely popular selection of Film Simulations which digitize some of the industry’s most iconic films and puts them right at your fingertips. X-T5 adds the Nostalgic Negative Film Simulation, making it easier than ever to create images straight out of camera. For those who like to stay out in the field longer, X-T5 offers extended performance from the NP-W235 battery. Up to 680 frames can be recorded from a single charge, plus the mechanical shutter guarantees 500,000 actuations, delivering long-term accuracy and reliability. Create with confidence Thanks to X-T5’s in-body image stabilization (IBIS) system, quality-sapping camera shake will be a thing of the past – even in low-light conditions. The system works in five axes, combatting all types of camera movement, and provides up to seven stops of compensation to unlock limitless opportunities. IBIS works in harmony with the camera’s subject detection autofocus, which uses deep-learning AI to expertly track animals, birds, cars, motorcycles, planes and trains. Tracking moving subjects is made easier by the detailed electronic viewfinder (EVF), which uses 3.69 million dots to provide a bright, vibrant display. The EVF offers 0.8x magnification for an easy-to-view image that’s further enhanced by improved suppression of parallax and distortion compared to its predecessor. Resulting files are combined using Pixel Shift Combiner software to quadruple the camera’s resolution and produce a detail-rich, 160-megapixel file. Perfect for commercial applications or digital archiving, it’s also ideal for any static subject where image quality is of primary importance. Not just a stills camera X-T5’s capabilities are enhanced by its powerful video functions, which complement the camera’s impressive stills performance. Movies can be recorded internally at up to 6.2K/30p in 4:2:2 10-bit color, plus there’s a 4K HQ mode which oversamples 6.2K footage for superior 4K output. This higher video resolution unlocks 2x digital zoom functionality, providing additional in-camera versatility without a noticeable drop in quality. Both F-Log and F-Log2 recording are possible, the latter providing expanded dynamic range of 13+ stops, plus 12-bit Apple ProRes RAW and Blackmagic RAW can be output via HDMI, to Atomos and Blackmagic devices accordingly.

This really is a fantastic image producing beast.If your used to a XT-3 or 4 you might initially think the build is a little less solid.But believe me, I’ve watched the videos on Ytube and read the reviews. This thing belts out fantastic images, my older computer, it is still a windows 10 and I’ve tried it on two along with a upto date windows 11 and a MAC. They handles RAW files fine. Low light ISO is great, as well as my older XT-3. It really does bring those listed lens to life and works really well with the older batch.It’s smaller than my old XT-3, now my second body.If you’ve been looking to update your XT-1/2/3 and not sure about the 4. This NO5 is really fantastic.However if your happy with your Fuji 3 or 4 and it’s doing the job you want then I wouldn’t rush out and buy the new XT-5 it’s Good. But I don’t think it’s the very best they have made. The overall feel is a little, well plasticky.But what a sensor.

I purchased this camera as an upgrade to my other Fuji camera. I was attracted by the sensor ugrade with the increase to 40 megapixel, the new processor and the auto focus improvements. I have not been disappointed.I love the Fuji build with its retro look and having the major dial controls accessible on the top of the body and not having to sort through various electronic screen menus to make adjustments. Being able to preset the controls without having to even turn it on.I'm still in the early days of owning this camera so I have not had the opportunity to use all of the features the camera has, or to make in depth comparrisons with the images taken by the Xt-5 and those from my other Fuji cameras.

This is a lovely little camera, jammed full of features including some class leading elements such as the 40 mp sensor, superb in-body image stabilisation and various subject detection modes which were impressive. It produces great jpegs too. High ISO performance is not so good; anything above 6400 being pretty unusable. I sent the lens back because I could not get a lens that did justice to the sensor - I shoot birds so it has to be a long lens and I could not find a suitable candidate. The high sensor resolution is likely to show up imperfections in lenses that would look good at 20 mp. I gave only four stars to the autofocus because I never had a chance to really see what it could do with great glass - but picking out the eyes of birds was very impressive. The EVF was bright and clear with very little lag and easily customisable to provide all the information you want - except the actual ISO being used! There are lots of customisable buttons which, with the dials and command wheels make the camera easily controllable when not in Auto mode. Overall I gave it four stars because of the lack of suitable glass for what I want. If you like landscapes or portraits there are loads of choices - but why do you need 40 mp for that?

Update:I bought the body only and paired it with the 16-55mm. After about 2 weeks of use I can report a huge difference in the results, it's significantly better, both in terms of image quality and also auto focus, the latter seeming to have a much better success rate (though that might be in part because I'm now more familiar with the camera). In total I had to fork out about €400 more, and that's with a second hand 16-55mm. Only real downside compared to the 16-55mm, besides the shorter reach, is the sheer size and weight of the 16-55mm, ergonomics take a real dive when using it. Still, I'm very happy overall.Original review:After many hours and days deliberating what to get, I started going cross-eyed and panic bought the 16-80mm kit. It's been a major disappointment; I'm not sure what I was thinking, but it was something along the lines of "surely they wouldn't sell it as a kit if it was that bad" and "it's a good deal".I've spent almost 3 weeks trying all the settings and conditions imaginable to get the lens to perform, but it's just unacceptably blurry no matter what I do. Perhaps it was a bad lens, but it seems to me that the 40MP sensor actually highlights imperfections to the point that IQ is worse than the 24MP sensors, even after down-sampling, etc., in post.Alas, I'm returning to Bolo and am considering just getting the body and the 16-55mm separately. The 18-55mm kit may perform a little better than the 16-80mm, but I doubt it. I think you simply have to commit to the highest tier lenses with this sensor; don't deviate from 'the list'.The eye detection issues are definitely there too, but that's much less of a concern than poor IQ, and I'm wagering Fuji will patch this with a future firmware.

Buyer beware.I'm holding off from buying after seeing a number of articles on he internet (and one reviewer here at time of writing) that there is an issue with the X-T5's autofocus tracking. Do your homework before buying if this is a feature that is important to you.

Klasse APSC Kamera
So, hab die XT5 jetzt 1,5 Jahre in gebrauch. Die Kamera ist schön klein und handlich ( wie meine XT1). Die Bildqualität ist klasse. 40 MP auf einem APSC Sensor sind kein Problem. Seit ich die XT5 habe liegen meine Vollformat Kameras nur noch im Schrank.

The camera odds great, but the “new” camera was used. It has 2000 exposures and scratches.
Excelente calidad
Gran calidad de foto y vídeo, muy fácil cambiar de foto a vídeo y los valores de iso y velocidad o apertura a través de las ruedas que tiene arriba, que además son bloqueables y el diafragma en el objetivo.Tiene gran cantidad de menús y configuraciones, y "recetas" o filtros configurables para desde cámara hacer fotos con el color deseado.Además la posibilidad de poner configurar hasta 5 perfiles al misml tiempo con distintas configuraciones y filtros para cambiar rápidamente según lo que necesites.Lo único es que recomiendo comprarle.una empuñadura aparte, porque al menos yo siento el cuerpo muuy pequeño y al coger la cámara da la sensación de que en cualquier momento se te va a caer. (En mi caso la uso con un arnés, pero igual he incluiso la empuñadura, es cómoda)
Excellent camera for hobbyist photographers
Fujifilm X-T5 is one of the best cameras for hobbyists. I like its retro design, physical control dials and film-like picture profiles. The range of X-mount lenses is the best you can get for any mirrorless system.
