When I received this fantastic pen I was a little disappointed that on the gold plated shaft was a hairline mark that couldn’t be removed using the polishing cloth provided. Subsequently I purchased a Hegarty Gold polishing cloth from Bolo and this has removed the marks beautifully. The gold plating is very special and together with the substantial weight makes this a great pleasure to use. The ink flows smoothly and dries quickly. The spring loaded refills add to the comfort whilst writing and there is a very good balance to the pen in the hand. The pen comes with a QR code to register via the website which gives you a two year guarantee. It also comes with two medium black refills and spares can be purchased on Bolo. There’s also a spare spring in the box in case you need it. Altogether this design and functionality and overall quality makes this a great gift for anyone who loves writing. It makes a good alternative to a fountain pen and is excellent value for money.

I love this pen. Much better than a parker in my view, and it comes down to just one thing. It's the fact that is has a spring in the top that prevents you from pushing too hard on the page, which is often an issue for me. It also makes the writing experience much smoother and allows me to write more neatly. This again, is a big issue for me as my left-hand writing is generally a pretty terrible scrawl.In addition to all of that, I went for the "bronze" pen. I love that it's all metal, and it's robust enough to not break under my constant fiddling during conference calls. A great little investment if you want something that looks nice, writes well, and is also pretty robust.

The most expensive pen I have had, was the fancy BIC with 4 colours. After being diagnosed with “Carpal Tunnel”, my writing looking like I was 3, where I should get a “who's a clever boy?” Just for making an X.I thought I would try a heavy pen, & couldn’t believe that you needed a mortgage for the price of some of them. I settled for this… OMG! It is literally worth every penny.1/. Children can read my writing (some adults too)2/. It feels expensive & I look pretty intelligent just holding it.3/. It glides across the paper, with a perfect finish, and no bleed.4/. The weight just seems to be medically perfect for my wrist & finger problems.5/. The presentation box (to myself), was beautiful, felt expressive(ish), and looked recyclable. It felt like my birthday all over again (Yeay! Except no one turned up to the party).In short, whether it’s a gift, or for yourself, it’s a fantastic pen, I wish I had bought mine years ago, and I’m sure anyone with a profile pic featuring this pen, will definitely get a swipe left.Just buy it.

Carefully with a spring. There's a replacement along with additional refill but no replacement is available to buy on site.It's heavier than you might expect !All G2 refills I've tried (rollerballs and fineliners) fit.Polished texture is very filigree but also quite unique and it's a love/hate design decision. It doesn't feel like "natural weathering" on brass/Cooper/bronze. It looks great but if you need "aged" look you'll have to achieve it somehow later :)No compromises in quality but probably a bit pricy for "new" brand! It almost hits the bottom price-range of Kaweco/Lami/Waterman in its category.

Writes nicely. A little top-heavy with the cap screwed on for writing, but this does prevent the pen from rolling away when put down - this is the main reason I bought this one; their full-size pens are terrible for this.Compact when closed with no possibility of leaking in pocked due to having a screw cap. Screwing the cap onto the top for writing also prevents the cap from getting lost. A very nice pen.

I was first attracted by how beautiful the design is and decided to have it in my collection of pretty things 😁I have had the pen for several days now and can say this without hesitation that this pen not only looks gorgeous, but also it is unparalleled in terms of functionality. It writes so smoothly, it basically just glides on paper. There is a nice weight to it as well, which makes writing so divine! This would make a perfect gift 🎁!

Everything about this pen is well thought out. For me, the best thing is the cap unscrews and can then be screwed on to the other end of the barrel, so you can't misplace it when you're writing. This is a pen that looks the part, as well as being very practical - and without being too expensive.
My new favorite pen - fits standard refils
Had this for a few days now and it's my new favorite pen. Great weight and heft to it, but nice compact design. I read some of the other reviews and it looks like they changed the inside of the cap and it's not a plastic insert for the screw threads. Either way I don't understand how hard they would have been tightening the cap. It's a friction fit and it stays snug nicely. Best part for me is that it fits the Sharpie S-Gel refills, the 0.7mm ones. Those refills and that pen body makes me a happy camper.
Excellent value and great performance!
I went out on a limb here as I was not too sure of this company or their track record with nice pens, I was not disappointed. The rollerball has an excellent weight to it and looks outstanding. It looks and feels like a luxury pen worth more than what you pay for it. The actual writing itself is very smooth and elegant and I would recommend it to anyone who is on the fence with the purchase. They even include a free refill and a microfiber cloth in the box to keep the pen looking outstanding and for when you inevitably run out of ink.The box it came in was top-notch as well and shipping was very fast. Long story short, if you are looking for an affordable luxury pen, look no further. This will check all the boxes!
