    I am 83 and suffer from Macular Degeneration which affects my sight. I can no longer see the lines on a feint lined page. To discover wire bound books with darker lines was amazing. I now have one for every need from church notes to story writing. Keeping notes has once again become a joy instead of an agonising chore.Suggestion. How about finding us mechanical pencils with B lead? That would make a perfect combination.

    These are really good quality notebooks. I love the lined pages and it will certainly help in writing neatly and orderly. I wanted them for writing down my own recipes and ones I discover from other sources. Having six books I can dedicate them to different types of foods. When I cook from them it’s good to know that they are very durable. The spiral spine will help to hold my recipe pages nice and flat. The thickness of the paper makes them very robust and easy to use any type of writing pen without any bleed through problems. Very pleased with these.

    These six black notebooks arrive in a cardboard box with the pads inside wrapped in plastic. I think it a shame the plastic wrapping needed to be used, they were very well protected by the box. (Maybe the plastic is required to protect from damp during transit?)The notebook's black cover is made from a thick craft paper. The lined pages inside feel like they are made from recycled paper, but there is no mention of whether they are (or are not) in the product page.The paper the pages are made from is, in my opinion, not ‘thick’ as described but it is certainly not a flimsy thin. Also, I can't agree that they are of a 'premium' quality, I think it fair to say they are of a medium quality.The product page states the paper is suitable for ballpoint pens, mechanical pencils, and highlighters. Usage of pens and pencils was fine and the paper felt nice and smooth to write on. However, when I tested a highlighter, it bled through that page, and when I used a sharpie it bled through that page and to the following page as well.This is a good size, spiral bound pad. It is of good quality, is pleasant to write upon and will be great for multiple uses.

    A nice collection of spiral note books, all the same with black covers. Accepts printed labels apply easily, or if you have metallic paint pens you can write directly on them for some fancy art/doodles if you want to personalise them.Pages are evenly lined, with small margins on both sides. Being spiral bound, everything folds completely around as you'd expect, allowing you to work and write in a limited space or indeed holding it with one hand.Pages feel nice to write on and are great for jotting down/taking notes with.

    The set of 5 notebooks came in cardboard box. They were tightly packed in plastic film to avoid any damages. The notebooks are lined but the pages are very thin so the ink will be visible through it. So that's a hit disappointing I must say. The covers are firm enough. These notebooks are good for notes, scrap writing, but I wouldn't use them as a diary or to write important information in. These are basic notebooks and over £3 per each is a bit much.

    I accept that you are getting five notebooks but they really are very small with 120 pages each and quite basic they are too, the covers are unexciting and a little thin, I really expected a lot more for the money like thicker covers, better paper stock and a larger area for writing but these unfortunately do disappoint.I'm giving three stars because they do fulfil their purpose as notebooks and there is intrinsically nothing wrong with them, they are just very underwhelming I'm afraid.
