    These tomatoes are a huge hit in our household. They are cheaper on here than anywhere else we have found them, and the flavour they pack is better than any tinned tomatoes we have tried from any of the supermarkets. The fact that they are pre-chopped makes them ideal for going straight into bolognese, lasagne, pizza sauce - basically, anything with a ragu-type base.Bonus point also for the fact that we have never once had a piece of the stalky bit (from the middle of the tomato) in any of the cans we have used over the past couple of years. This definitely can't be said for the other brands we have tried. We now have a batch of these Mutti tomatoes delivered every month as part of our Subscribe & Save delivery, and will continue to do so for as long as they are so reasonably priced.

    There will be no going back to cheapo tinned tomatoes, so be warned. There is just no comparison at all. Thankfully these are quite regularly on offer where they work out less than a pound a tin, so in line with or even cheaper than supermarkets' mid range own brand tinned tomatoes. I also find that as they are so rich and not watery, you can often get away with using one tin when a recipe stipulates two and you also don't need to use tomato puree with these a lot of the time.

    Love these rich red tomatoes. Definitely a game changer in my cooking. I love these but they can be pricey. I do get them when they are on a deal. I love this brand and their pasta sauces are great too! I usually make a curry but as these are so rich you need to use less so having six tomatoe tins is almost like having twelve. Definitely quality over quantity.

    These tins of toms are 99% tomato unlike most brands which are 65%. They are rich and luscious and delicious and I can’t go back to inferior brands now, damn you Mutti you’ve turned me into an addict stalking the internet to get my next fix. I’m trying to resist the passata.

    I wasn't sure about this at first. We eat a lot of canned tomatoes and they're about 35p in supermarkets. So these are expensive. However, these are 99.7% tomatoes. And I am almost certain that the canned tomatoes I was buying before were around 60% (I guess the rest was water?)Important to note, these are pulped. They're closer to passata than chopped tomatoes, but not completely smooth like passata. I suspect it makes them pretty much perfect for stuff like pizza, though I haven't made any yet.

    Without going to a fancy shop in Knightsbridge to get the ones Mama would use for twice the price hand picked and packed by Italian virgins if you get my drift. They are good quality, that’s it.

    There's no getting away from it, these are expensive per tin but there's more to it than pence per tin.What exactly are you getting for your money though?With these the tin contains 99.8% tomato.The supermarket tins typically contain 60%.Other so called premium brands who I won't name, contain 70%.In short, you are paying less for the others because you are paying for water.The content is reflected in the taste whick knocks spots of the other brands.

    These tinned tomatoes were highly recommended from a family member so I thought ‘vine, I’ll give them a go”In Heinz sight, I should’ve switched to this brand a long time ago.No seriously, I’m loving them, from my head tomatoes.
