About this item:
The story of Cal Kestis continues in Star Wars Jedi: Survivor, a third person galaxy-spanning action-adventure game from respawn entertainment, developed in collaboration with lucasfilm games. This narratively-driven, single player title picks up five years after the events of Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order and follows Cal’s increasingly desperate fight as the galaxy descends further into darkness. Pushed to the edges of the galaxy by the Empire, Cal will find himself surrounded by threats new and familiar. As one of the last surviving Jedi Knights, Cal is driven to make a stand during the galaxy’s darkest times – but how far is he willing to go to protect himself, his crew, and the legacy of the Jedi Order?
To survive, players will build upon Cal’s training with an expanded list of iconic force abilities, combat stances, and lightsaber customizations that can be combined in new and different ways to fight as a jedi. While the Force is a powerful ally, it may not be enough. Cal will have to get creative and master new abilities, tactics and even leverage the environment around him to overcome the obstacles ahead.
Fans of Star Wars will travel to new planets and familiar frontiers as Cal seeks to reunite the crew of the Stinger Mantis. New Force abilities, equipment and upgrades will enable players to search, explore, and re-traverse in new ways across multiple planets, each with their own unique challenges to face. The galaxy is full of stories, secrets, and treasures to uncover for those willing to face the dangers that lay off the beaten path.

5.0 out of 5 stars Is Fun
Product Works Like New, Is Very Fun, Easy & Had Amazing Graphics
5.0 out of 5 stars Am immersive experience that will leave you wanting more
I haven’t played the first game yet but plan to after thoroughly enjoying a month of playing this game. As a busy mum I don’t get to game much but bought this solely on the strength of one IGN review. I am loving it so far!The gameplay is so immersive, you really feel like you are in the Star Wars universe. I love the character of Cal and being able to customise his outfits. I read that one criticism of the previous game was no fast travel but that has been addressed in this game. What I’ve explored of the universe so far is vast and there’s so much to discover. Also lots of Easter eggs to seek out and even the famed (loved or hated) poncho if you know where to look. The music is also fantastic and adds to the immersive experience – important to me in any game.I found the skills set-up easy to understand and am enjoying the dual blade lightsaber stance (also using the Force to send stormtroopers off cliffs or confusion to make them fight each other). One tip I picked up was to customise the accessibility settings to improve the gameplay and experience which I’m going to do next time I play.I highly recommend you get this game if you’re a Star Wars fan. It’s definitely one of the best games I’ve ever played!
5.0 out of 5 stars For those with slow internet…
***EDIT: Played the game now, firstly the game is pretty good, similar to the first but with modest improvements(only done the very first mission so far - but it’s long). Be warned though, the game is still buggy, video sequences sometimes crash and a restart of the game is required to get back into it. Audio still plays like the game is moving along but video is frozen. The one gameplay difference that is worse is my opinion in it feels a lot more sensitive and jarring when moving the camera around. On the whole so far the game feels good though. I would recommend playing it.***Not played yet, here for folk with a slow download speed. There is a 150GB download to complete before you can even play from the looks of it. If you’re desperate to play just bear this in mind. Even with 380mbps which is roughly 45MBps real time download, it’s taking a good while. To get actual download speed, divide your mbps by 8. This will give you the real time speed of your connection (bits to Bytes conversion).Couldn’t the game makers have included 2 disks for this game for people with slow download speeds? Feels like cost cutting wins every time these days. For those of you with near dial up speeds, I suspect we will be in a galaxy far far away before the download completes…
4.0 out of 5 stars Great Game (99% Fixed!)
The Positives:The game is absolutely brilliant and I thoroughly enjoyed it. It is a vast improvement on the first one (which I really enjoyed), and the added fast travel makes it way less frustrating when you need to collect all the chests, databank entries etc.The stances and skill tree have been upgraded and the customisation is also far better (although not enough ponchos!). I made sure Cal sported a manly mullet and handlebar moustache for pretty much the whole game and I didnt need to fight 99% of the enemies as they cowered at his super machismo appearance ;-)I loved the main planet Koboh as although it has 'linear' parts it felt more open worldy and I spent most of the first part of the game exploring. The map is better than the first game; not great, but better! The Negatives:The game reverted to an old save and I lost about 5 hours of gameplay, which I was far from impressed with. In 2023 you should be able to have multiple saves rather than 1, so EA need to get out of the dark ages and fix this bug as other people have experienced this when looking online.Performance mode is pointless as it lags on the PS5. What is the point of having it if it doesn't work!!?The cutscenes are laggy and had the speech missing a few times. Good old subtitles! There were a few points where the characters adopted a Cristiano Ronaldo goal pose when waiting to travel to another planet and Cal's lightsaber started spinning around on his back lots of times when on the Mantis. It only crashed once, but lost about 20-30 minutes of collecting chests etc.Overall I believe they have fixed most of the main bugs and it was fantastic seeing all the old characters growing and I loved the action and engaging plot. The main tips I would like to share are......If you complete certain quests / side quests you will unlock the location of certain collectibles on the map. I thought there was an issue / glitch with the game, but one quest unlocks chests, one quest unlocks databanks, one quest unlocks treasures etc, so don't expect all the collectibles to be displayed until you've done all these quests. The other thing is that you need to speak to everyone in the bar regularly to unlock missions, details about the characters, bounties etc. When you think it is glitched (the bounties not updating was a great example of this), just save it, and go back and chat to them over and over again or continue to progress the story and you will be able to Platinum the game and get all collectibles.Put a strap on your control pad as there are 2 boss battles where your control pad will be close to being launched at the TV!I would definitely recommend playing this and the first one and hopefully EA will release another one soon, without the glitches.
5.0 out of 5 stars Good follow on story from the first game
I liked the first game in the series but loved this one. It’s a challenging game (unless set on the easiest mode) to complete. Lots of areas to explore and side missions.
5.0 out of 5 stars Loved it
Yet another gem, a great sequel to the franchise. Fun and immersive game play. New challenges and story to undertake. I was hooked
5.0 out of 5 stars Jedi survivor ps5
I loved this game I even played it to platinum like the fallen order. I’m hoping we get another Star Wars game to complete a trilogy. Kal has been fun to play as.
EU version works for us psn but no downloadable content
if you plan to just play jedi survivor without any possible DLC then this version is cheap and okay for you. just be careful when buying the game for the wrong region as there may be complications.

Great story and just the right amount of learning curve
I recently got back into video games after not playing for more than 12 years.I needed something I couldn’t turn into work and that allowed me to detach. This was the first game I played on a PS5 and it’s thoroughly enjoyable and has a great story.
