    When the ice maker works, it does pretty well, but that is just about all. Now that we have the good points out of the way, let me tell you the rest of the story:1. It will only last 11 months, purely because of the Infrared receiver which rusts and gives a false "ice full" indicator, which stops the machine from doing it's job. Another customer "999greeves" whom I discovered on YouTube (Just Google "KeeGone Ice Machine Fixed" on Videos), had the same problem, which he fixed. I bought some IR diodes from Bolo and fixed it myself the very next day. So if you're handy with a soldering iron and understand what an IR diode is, then you're probably going to be OK with this machine, but read on anyway for more juicy tidbits!2. Noisy! If you are like me and have a small-ish house, then your kitchen is probably next to your living room or wherever you keep your television. I keep my ice machine in the kitchen and wish I had the space elsewhere to put it. At this point I am considering keeping it in the garage. Ugh! The noise is not unbearable, it's just that you become used to it, and when you DO realize why you need to continually increase television volume, you once again become aware of the noise that you had thankfully become accustomed to, and then you can't unhear it again.3. Ice Full beam is broken early. The ice gets pushed out into a little basket, cute, however it does not spread out at the bottom. Instead it forms a wall against the basket and after only a few ice-making sessions, the beam is broken and you have a basket which is only half-full. pffffff!4. Finally, the manufacturer or provider or seller, call it what you want: After searching everywhere for a way to contact them for an out-of-return window, I finally found a way to chat to a bot - phew! Lucky me. Needless to say, after a ten minute interaction with my newfound AI friend, days later there was no response from the seller.5. The price has dropped from 139 GBP to 89 GBP. Methinks that they know about the faults and are trying to dump stock onto unsuspecting (but now informed, thanks to this write-up) customers.Lekker man!

    I got this ice maker as I like my cocktails but also wanted easy ice on hand at home and while away on a boat.It is almost silent and very simple to opperate with clear simple instructions. It works very well from my few weeks of using it. The ice has two sizes but I just tend to use the larger size. It makes 9 lumps in about 14mins and will slowly fill up a good sized hopper and then cut off until the ice level in the hopper drops, when it will start up again and refill the hopper. Melted ice gets recycled back into the water tank to be re used which is clever, I only marked it down by one star, as the ice full sensor could be a fraction higher to allow it to fully fill the hopper, but that's just me being picky. As to my view if the hopper has an amount of space available the let the machine it fill up to that point. It's still a good amount of ice in volume about 2L ice cream tub sort of space, so not a major issue in any way shape or form But overall an excellent and economical ice maker that does it's job well with no fuss and seems very well made and well engineered.

    Love this machine. Does small ice bullets .The only downfall is that they melt to quickly .I would recommend putting the ice in the freezer straight after if not being used straight away .

    If You follow instructions, this works perfectly, and makes thick ice (set it to large ice) cubes. Its quiet most of the time, and even when compressor is working its very quiet. We have it set to constantly produce ice, when the ice bucket is full it enters standby mode untill ice is taken of bottom ice melts making room in the bucket for more ice. This is a great buy, and saves a lot of time money and mess. Please follow the instructions and only use filtered water, not bottled or tap water, unless filtered. This will keep it maintenance free and prolong its life.

    I hope it lasts longer than the others.So far so good.Guess what it is broken. There was a puddle of water underneath the machine and the underside is rusty.In this condition it may be unsafe to use, I am taking no chances.I have tried to contact customer services, to no avail. All I get is the return date has passed.If it's eligible for repair tell me how to contact a repairer.It is less than a year since I purchased the item.

    It made ice quite quickly but it says it doesn’t melt until between 5 and 8 hours. Not so, I found the ice melting with an hour. Then all it does as makes ice with the water that’s melted! Ended up returning for a refund

    Eine super Eiswürfelmaschine mit vielen Pluspunkten für mich!

    Eigentlich habe ich eine Eiswürfelmaschine, die mir seit Jahren gute Dienste leistete und die auch noch funktioniert!Aber bei den letzten Primedays im Juli war diese Maschine erheblich runtergesetzt und ich schlug zu!Diese Eismaschine sieht sehr stylisch und edel aus und sie ist in einigen Punkten deutlich besser, wie meine alte Maschine:- Sie stellt erheblich schneller die Eiswürfel her!- Der Eisbehälter ist um einiges größer!- Der Wassertank fasst mehr Wasser, so dass ich nur noch 1-2x nachfüllen muss!- Sie macht sich durch Piepsen bemerkbar, wenn der Eisbehälter voll ist oder ihr Wasser fehlt!- Die Selbstreinigung funktioniert 1A!Ich habe einen ziemlich großen Eiswürfelverschleiß, da ich meine Getränke am liebsten immer eisgekühlt genieße - und dies im Sommer wie auch im Winter! Somit ist die Maschine bei mir das ganze Jahr über in Gebrauch und ich muss mir etwa alle 1 1/2 bis 2 Wochen neue Eiswürfen machen!Ich mache mir dann immer gleich 2 große 3 Liter-Gefrierbeutel voll fertig, um nicht noch öfter Eiswürfel machen zu müssen!Meine alte Maschine brauchte dafür ca. gute 6 Stunden, um diese 2 Gefrierbeutel zu füllen - die neue Maschine braucht dafür nur noch etwa 4 Stunden für dieselbe Menge!Da die Maschine bei mir in der Küche steht, habe ich im Wohnzimmer bei der alten Maschine oft nicht mitbekommen, wenn der Eisbehälter voll war oder ihr Wasser fehlte und sie deshalb die Arbeit einstellte! Die Neue macht sich durch Piepsen bemerkbar, so dass ich jetzt weiß, wann ich wieder in die Küche wandern muss, um den Eisbehälter zu leeren oder Wasser nachzufüllen! Das ist für mich ein absoluter Pluspunkt!Und am Ende ist die Selbstreinigung bei der neuen Maschine wirklich top und klappt tadellos! Bei der alten wollte diese (warum auch immer) irgendwie immer nicht funktionieren!Das Einzige was bei meiner alten Maschine deutlich besser gelöst war, ist der Wasserablauf!Bei ihr wurde der Stöpsel außen unter der Maschine rausgezogen, Becher drunterhalten und das Wass ablaufen lassen!Bei der Neuen muss ich immer in das eiskalte Restwasser greifen, um den Stöpsel rauszuziehen! Ist nun kein Weltuntergang, aber wie man bei meiner alten Maschine sieht, hätte man dieses deutlich besser lösen können - ohne sich jedes Mal am Ende noch nasse Finger zu holen! Aber dies ist mein einziger Kritikpunkt bei dieser Eiswürfelmaschine, den man verbessern könnte!Sonst hat die neue Maschine aber deutlich weniger Ecken und Kanten und lässt sich schnell und einfach mit einem Tuch innen trochenlegen! Ich habe zwar kein sehr hartes Wasser, aber ich verwende für alle meine E-Geräte und Getränke immer gefiltertes Wasser, was den Geräten zu Gute kommt und die Reinigung zusätzlich erleichtert!Ansonsten habe ich an diese Maschine zu dem günstigen Preis wirklich nichts auszusetzen und würde sie jederzeit wieder kaufen! Dafür gibt es eine klare Kaufemfehlung und die vollen 5 Sterne!

    Achetée pour l'offrir à des amis qui habitent dans le sud et qui sont des habitués de l'eau glaçée notamment en été, cette machine nous a bluffés tous. Aussi tôt mis en route, elle est vite devenue un élément du petit électroménager incontournable et plus qu'utile pour nos amis ravis de ce cadeau.En gardant à l'esprit les conditions d'utilisation et les premières attentes, nous nous en sommes servis pendant notre séjour tous les jours.Elle n'est pas bruyante, produt une quantité suffisante de glaçons pour une utilisation domestique et grâce à sa programmation, on peut avoir des glaçons à disposition au gré de ses envies.Nous l'avons choisie en partant de celle nous avions déjà pour nous qui nous satisfait pleinement. C'est dire qu'elle est encore mieux.En plein été, choisir le gros gabarit des glaçons et ne pas négliger la température ambiante. Au-delà de 25 °C, elle tourne davantage et les glaçons peuvent être plus petits. Nous avons pris pour habitude d'en préparer lorsque la température est en-dessous de 25°C et les gardons au congélateur. Comme ça la consommation est moindre, mais nous avons toujours des glaçons à disposition.Avec les températures qui grimpent, la machine à glaçons est devenue une nécessité pour nous.Je recommande également pour le super rapport qualité/prix.

    Die Maschine arbeitet kontinuierlich vor sich hin, hat einen relativ geringen Wasserverbrauch, ist ziemlich leise, sodass sie sogar am Tisch, an dem die Gäste sitzen ihre Arbeit verrichten könnte.Zunächst sind die Eiswürfel sehr klein - nicht abschrecken lassen - sie werden von mal zu mal größer.Die ganz kleinen ( einzustellen) passen sogar in eine Bierflasche ;-)Die Bedienung ist einfach, allerdings ist das Display bei Sonnenlicht schlecht zu erkennen, abends dagegen sehr gut. Insgesamt empfehlenswert.
