    Okay my laptop is getting old and I did consider replacing but it does what I need it to do and I haven't found a replacement I like yet. The cable on the charger had become worn, showing wires, and despite taping it just wasn't reliable. I noticed cable went directly into charger so needed whole unit, I tried ASUS as I'd have preferred to buy from the manufacturer, but I couldn't find my serial number, on a sticker it probably came off years ago and the guy on the phone has become very impatient.It was difficult to find what I needed on Bolo as despite putting in ASUS charger and output details from back of charger I was presented with over hundred chargers many not suitable. I nearly ordered one but reviewer said it destoryed his motherboard and others complained of slow running, I then realised that output was less than 19V - 6.32A I required. So after checking details carefully I ordered this one and it's been working well for over a week.

    Adapter busted and wasn't sure why monitor wasn't working. Ordered this and the monitor works like a charm.
