    Despite seeing some negative reviews I took the chance (as it was cheap anyway) and it worked faultlessy straight out of the box. Obviously cannot yet know if it will continue to be so over time. Very pleased I decided to get it. Great value.

    This product was brilliant for the first day or two then it started to just randomly eject the dvd/cd tray when it was playing. Making it useless. I wouldn't recommend

    Bought this to copy music cd's as new car doesn't need/have cd player just USB or Card options. My old external CD-Rom (quite expensive) for some reason packed up after to CD copies, so thought get a new one, price of this is amazing, read the reviews manily all good, few bads ones, but thought, for the money, its not critcal if needs to be returned.. go for it.Ordered late Tueday Afternoon, arrived Wednesday about 3pm, excellent delivery.Plugged it in, with and probably only down, the very short cable, be great for side of laptop or pad, I'm connecting to a All-in-One so USB ports high up, but small box fixed the problem.It switched on straight, connected perfectly and there it was showing as the device it is.Popped in a CD to copy, Windows Media Player immediately picked it, started playing while getting the CD info off the internet. Pressed the 'rip' button and away it went, creating very rapidly a copy on the memory stick of the cd. Just to check played back from the memory stick, absolutely spot on.Popped a DVD in to see if any problems there, absolutely brilliant, no transfer errors, picture crystal clear and sound all good.So yea, great product and certainly for the money a great deal. How long it will work for remains to be seen, but it all at the moment is good.

    I have been able to use this product to take lots of old photos and videos off of some old discs however it was a little temperamental. It didn't like my Macbook unless it was plugged to power. To get around it sometimes powering down whilst loading the disc I was unplugging it and plugging it back in a lot.

    My laptop doesn’t have a CD drive and somehow lost driver’s for my printer however have the driver disc, connected this up so easy put disc in and Shazam sorted, excellent ease of use and great price
