Whilst the product itself is good, I am disappointed that it's not closed communication so we get interferences from other businesses and taxi companies who also use the same brand of walkie-talkies. This is very limiting and confusing and was not advertised when we purchased.Would be suitable for rural settings only unfortunately.

The media could not be loaded. Very easy to operate.Pop battery on and it speaks saying what channel it is on.It has 16 channels in all.Charging station holds them all well, they click into place.I love the earpiece. You firstly need to attach the clip to the walkie talkie which requires a small screwdriver (not included). Once in place you can clip to a belt or epaulette (shoulder tab).Easy to attach the earpiece via the connection. It's to the right of the body. One thick and one thin prong push into place.There is a tiny clip to hold the microphone (inline) to your clothing.The ear piece is a little large in my ear but I can hear clearly. The sponge cover is almost near impossible to attach. It took me sooooo loooong. Only did one so far.Probably could wear without the cover.I think this is fantastic value set.Easy to use.You can adjust the sound to suit your needs.I Probably need a proper read through of instructions to make sure I understand all it does but I'd definitely recommend these for dog walkers or neighbourhood watch.Excellent set.Ooh it also has a torch function. Steady with one push. Flashes with the second push. Love it.

When I ordered this product, my wife and children laughed and scolded me. "What's wrong with your phone, or there is no need to walkie talkies now that everyone has a mobile." All true comments indeed. However, those of us that have been hiking and camping in the remote corners of the UK, will know all too well that phone signal isn't always present in many of the UKs beautiful areas.When hiking in places such Edale in the Peak District. There is no signal on many of the camp sites. Therefore these walkie talkies value seems to increase. The range of the walkie talkies are indeed very good I wasn't sure if my hiking group would buy into the idea, but they were very open to it. Learning the etitiquette took a little getting used to but each walkie talkies worked fine and we all used the headsets so whilst we were split up during the hike the walkie talkies provided a good solution.I can't say if the 5 mile limit was reached but certainly the audio quality is excellent.The set is easynto setup and the batter life is excellent.Highly recommended.
