5.0 out of 5 stars Perfect for when I’m doing a longer fast
The media could not be loaded. I’m so happy to have something else to drink when I’m doing a longer fast.I generally do 43 hour fasts every day, once or twice a week I will do 48 hour fast, but once in a while like today I am doing a 72 hour fast and normally would drink black coffee and water, so having these teabags will make a change. The bag itself is very nice good quality made, ingredients are lovely, such a refreshing taste and nice knowing it’s not going to break my fast at all.Just 3 mins for the perfect brew, slice of lemon is also nice to add.Great bunch of ingredients including :🔸 Chamomile🔸 Dandelion Root🔸 Rosehips🔸 Cinnamon Bark🔸 Elderflower🔸 Cardamom🔸 FenugreekLove this product, will buy more!
5.0 out of 5 stars Soothing and calming, great quality tea.
Fasting tea arrived in the resealable bag for an extra freshenes.Tea bags are of a decent quality and quite strong. This tea is made from 6 herbs. All dry pieces are of a good size and nice colour. It brews well to yellowish colour. It has a lovely scent and mild herbal flavour with dominant chamomile and hint of cinnamon.A bit pricey - £9.99 for 20 bags, but very tasty and of an excellent quality.Calming and soothing, but I'm not sure if fasting.Definitely worth to try because of its nice relaxing pleasant flavour.
4.0 out of 5 stars Tastes nice enough
Now I did think these were expensive but the listing said you can reuse each bag up to 3 times, I found I couldn’t as by the third time there’s literally nothing left of flavour or goodness wise when I tried it, others might have succeeded with that but I didn’t also I found it a bit disgusting to keep a used tea bag out ready to use again and again, I’ve always drank herbal tea so this was nothing unusual to be but I do wonder about the fasting part as when I fast I only consume plain filtered water during then when I finish I consume products like this, personally I don’t know anyone that uses herbal tea while in the fast, all in all it’s a pricey but nice product but I won’t be getting them again
2.0 out of 5 stars Nauseating
Had to chuck some. Not pleasantly tasting at all
3.0 out of 5 stars Not just for fasting! Too pricey
Well, I’m not fasting, but I do love herbal tea and first thing in the morning on an empty stomach. These are lovely tea bags, which are super for an early morning cuppa. They’re a little fragrant and provide a soft straw colour tea that’s pleasant to drink whilst gathering your thoughts first thing. £9.99 for 20 though is quite dear, and whilst I love the combination of herbs, I don’t think they offer anything particularly unusual for that price that you couldn’t get from another herbal tea that will also suit you just fine while fasting or not.
5.0 out of 5 stars Nice taste
Very strong smelling and a nice taste. I've been using these for a 12 hour fast at night time to aid with weighloss and they are helping. You just boil the water pour it into the cup and leave to cool for two minutes before adding the tea bag. Leave teabag in cup for 3-5 minutes for I leave it for roughly 3 as I find its not hot enough for me to drink if left any longer.Because it naturally caffeine free I can use this in the evening as it won't interfere with my sleep pattern and the chamomile also promotes sleep.Overall very nice tasting, you can use the same bag up to 3 times, which is good and cost effective. J would recommend these.
1.0 out of 5 stars Didn’t like at all
This isn’t for me didn’t like the taste but everyone is different.
5.0 out of 5 stars Great for a pick me up during extended fasting
I use fasting since 5 years to get my balance back.I've cured my back aches with fasting and I am recommending it to healthy people. For extended fasts, that can get quite boring, this fasting tea is great. It not only hydrates you but gives you a little bit of a different taste apart from water without kicking you out of ketosis.I love this herbal tea and I gladly recommend it to you.
Helps my empty tummy first thing in the morning
I do not "fast", but I thought I would try this out on my sensitive stomach first thing in the morning when I haven't eaten for about 15 hours. I don't usually get my breakfast made until 3 hours or so after I have gotten out of bed, due to my lengthy morning routine (unimportant stuff I do..) This tends to be too long as I often feel a tad queasy by the time I get around to eating. I won't mind making a cup of tea after my shower to tide me over until breakfast though. This tea tastes primarily of chamomile, not my most favorite flavor, but I know it is supposed to be good for you, and I try to consume things that are healthy to help balance out the unhealthy. I can say that it does settle well in my stomach, and even help settle my stomach. I also love the pretty tea bags! They are made of a different material than the typical tea bag...like a very fine mesh net. I make a little 2 cup pitcher of boiled water and steep the tea bag for over the amount of time they suggest - which is 3-5 mins. The picture shows the tea after steeping for around 10 minutes. The tea was about the right strength, not too weak or strong. I didn't add any stevia, like i usually do and it was pleasant. Another addition to my morning routine!
Homeopathic Love!
I'm not against all medicine but any time I can use natural remedies I am extremely happy. Biggest concerns for me when fasting are not damaging progress I have made on gut health and keeping inflammation down. This tea not only supplies natural ingredients but it uses a combination of ones that focus on gut, liver, gall bladder, and immunity health. Add to it that the ingredients offer more health properties than those listed above, smells amazing, tastes great, and you have a total win in my book. While it didn't eliminate all hunger, it was great for sustaining me so that I didn't experience brain fog, lack of energy, migraines, nausea, or cramping. As an unexpected bonus, I found it alleviating menstrual cramps too.Photos are direct from bag, after 1st steep comparison, and after third steep. There is a slight notable lack of strength with each use but the flavor stayed. Package only recommends 3 uses per packet. I tried all at hot, cold, and room temperature without any noticeable difference in taste, strength, or effect.
Good buy
I purchased this item because I’ve started my intermittent fasting journey. It has great taste and helps keep me on track. I recommend this product.
Taste
Not so big on the taste of it.
Great for distracting one from snacking
First things first....this tea is delicious. I sometimes will sweeten teas that don't contain that much flavor, but I found this one to be great with nothing additional additives.Secondly, it works as advertised as a fasting tea. I fast between 4:30 PM and 8:30 AM every day. The hardest part of fasting for me is not actually getting hungry. It's the thinking about food or just wanting to taste something. This tea works great for that. Sipping on it keeps my mind off food. Thinking about it, there are probably many other zero-calorie teas that could be used for the same person and are not marketed that way, but that's just a side thought. This tea is definitely on the costly side, but you can use each tea bag multiple times. The directions say you can use each bag up to three times, but I'd say twice is close to reality.Overall, this has permanently changed my approach to intermittent fasting. This is a great product.
