    N-Acetyl Cysteine (NAC) is important building blocks for antioxidant enzymes produced by the liver. i like this product so much. Correct dosage and excellent composition. High quality. Very convenient to use in a package.

    This is one of those supplements that I only became aware of a couple of years back; say 2020, or 2021.It is known to increase the production glutathione in the body which in itself may have a range of effects.Be sure to do your research to see if it is right for you.This supplement contains very few ingredients ( which is good). In the one-capsule -per-day dose, you get N-Acetyl L-Cysteine (NAC) at 600mg, Heypromellose (ie the capsule shell) and BioPterine, a trademarked type of black pepper extract. That's it.There are 90 capsules in the bag, so 90 days supply, and NAC is often recommended to use for a few months, before getting the full effect.I think six months on six months off would work for me, although I'd consider moving that forward if I'd had a viral illness etc in between.This pack has an expiry or best before date 3 years ahead, so you have plenty of time to use them. They are also halal certified and vegan.Worth giving a go.FIe stars.

    I was recommended to try taking NAC to help me with a few conditions I suffer with. It was suggested that the antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties in NAC could help me with both fibromyalgia and psoriasis. I have inflamed joints and fatigue as well as inflamed scale like skin. I am always open to trying anything that may help. I have been using these tablets for quite some time now and have almost finished the bag. I take 1 a day with breakfast. I unfortunately haven't seen an improvement in pain, movement, or skin. They do seem to help a little with fatigue, though. I have been less tired. My 'fibro fog' hasn't been quite as bad. It took time for these small benefits to occur. Possibly, with more time, I could see more benefits. The tablets themselves are a little bigger than I like. I find them easier to take with milk. I find they float and stick to the roof of my mouth with water.

    I've had supplements from this firm before and can trust their quality.If you want to top up your amino acids this pack gives excellent value.I just take one per day. The capsules are easy to swallow with water and have no odour or leave any aftertaste.

    This NAC is currently at a great price (around £5) for 90 days supply.Each capsule contains 600mg NAC, black pepper extract (which may help with absorption perhaps), and nothing else (except for the capsule shell - hypromellose).I like to take NAC for lung / breathing support.

    I regularly take NAC as a supplement for my thyroid function and some have a distinct smell which can be off putting. This one doesn't, it's easy to swallow and not too big.Great value for a lot of tablets too

    N-acetyl L-Cysteine, or NAC for short, is an essential amino acid that is produced naturally by the body, although it cannot be obtained directly from food.It is a precursor to antioxidants, which can help the body deal with damaging free radicals, and reputedly shows promise for a number of physiological and psychological conditions.This preparation comes as 90 capsules, each containing 600 mg of the active ingredient, as well as 5 mg BioPerine (black pepper extract) which supposedly increases efficacy.I was pleasantly surprised to find the capsules both tasteless and odourless, as some sources warn of a noxious smell with NAC, due to the presence of sulphur.The capsules are relatively large, but not exceptionally so, and I find them easy to swallow.You can take them at any time of day, although I try to take mine no later than lunchtime, as some sources indicate they could interfere with sleep.I can't say I've noticed any benefits yet, but neither have I noticed any side-effectsI was going to give four stars on grounds of value and palatability, but have downgraded my rating to 3, on noticing the usage instructions in the listing are worryingly at variance with those on the pack. The listing directs FOUR capsules daily, whereas the pack suggests only ONE per day, and has a caution not to exceed the recommended dose. They can't both be right, so I'm going to play safe and assume one capsule is correct.But what about anyone who has followed the listing and taken FOUR?I really can't excuse sloppiness over critical information like how much to take. This undermines my faith in the manufacturer's care and attention to detail, and hence the product itself.

    I have been a user of Nac for a while in different forms.I would usually take supplements that have been independently tested for heavy metals, however despite a number of reassuring claims here, i could not find if they have been tested for heavy metals. Aside from that I love NAC supplements and these seem very similar to those I have taken in the past. Do your research on NAC and you will see the wide ranging potential benefits it could assist with.I love the fact that this product is 100% non-GMO, gluten free, vegan, dairy free, and preservative free, which is another massive plus point, as is the value. Taking the 1 per day will last 3 months so Excellent in my view. I find them easy to take and swallow. Just the heavy metal reassurance to get the max 5 * rating from me.
